  • Is this album on iTunes?

  • "No, No, No it aint me babe, WAAH WAAH OOHH!!"

  • It aint expensive, even for girls. LOL

  • @pvtpyle74 "goyim" not girls

  • Brilliant! Thank you for the upload. Still cracks me up .

  • LOL!

  • He sings better than Jerry.

  • "Oh, 'It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)'... BLOOD!"

  • eeek!

  • I can't get enough of this video. Martin Short is such a comedic genius!

  • Great job by Martin Short.

Jerry Lewis' appeal always mystified me. His movies were horrible, he couldn't sing very well and he wasn't funny. He was also supposedly a real prick, but people loved him.

  • @46spoony I'm not saying you're wrong because I use to be mystified as well. It's because we have so much comedy to compare him to today. But back then, there was very very little to compare him to. Notice in the 70's when a lot of comedies took off, he wasn't among them (because he was surpassed).

  • Loved the bit with Jerry being 'chased' by the rolling stone (especially the cut-out where Jerry crashed through the studio wall).......but how did they pull off the part out on the snowy street with the boulder following after him. Pretty good 'effect' for a show with (almost) no budget.....

  • see sctv's gordon

    lightfoot parody...really funny

  • 1:38 IMAO

  • WHAAAAAAAA!!..I'm wanna do Dylan cause he make me feel good alot!

    OHH YEAHH!!!

  • I wonder how they laid in the "boulder" chasing Jerry? this was before CGI and it looked like he was really running down the street there in toronto so maybe it was an actual paper mache "rock" and guys off screen kept pushing it?

  • My favorite part is the Jews Harp in Subterranean Homesick Blues.

  • this cracks me up so much hahahahahah

  • CDs came out in 1984, the same year that his was done.

  • I wonder if this inspired the hilarious scene in ''The Freshman'' in which Bert Parks singsDylan's ''.......Maggie's Farm.''

  • Simply marvelous. What a funny bit.

  • "It ain't that expensive, even for goyim!"

  • its alright ma IM only bleeding,...BLOOD! lol

  • From a Buick Six would be awesome--I'd love to hear that

  • Unreal stuff.

  • most of the songs he's singing are from the bootleg series albums

  • This album was the best selling album in France for 8 years straight.

  • "...but to the trends of the ... thing. And that's jusr marvelous." AMAZING...lol...out loud belly laughs - I think only since SCTV, News Radio, and Arrested Development have produced such comedic genius with incredible pace (with Monty Python preceding them of course)

    awesome!.

    ~4 SCTV fans here, i just uploaded the full 2 hour youtube.com/watch?v=rS1nNIyJIt4 Disc 5, Vol.1 of DVD 4 every1 2 enjoy-also has 1999 cast reunion & Q&A mod'd by Conan O'Brien @ end + plz rate and comment

  • @GlobalPunditOrg NewsRadio was the shit. I have a Bill McNeil lunchbox.

  • LMAO! ROTF!

  • As someone else commented, he nails it. This is one of the funniest I've seen. I laughed so hard my sides ached. Short is a comic genius.

  • It's strange that the unfunny and talentless Lewis is hysterical as parody.

  • What's so cool about this great satirical comedy is that it was produced way up on the northern tundra of Canada. It was hip and sharp and perceptive, yet it was bitter cold! Look at all the snow on the ground as Jerry is being chased by a "rolling stone" through suburbia. . Brrrrrr!

  • Blisfully mentally retarded brilliant dead on Jerry Lewis! LOL!

  • Martin Short's Jerry Lewis impression is beyond perfect!

  • "... and if you're good..." love it.

  • how many ways can i say love you I do? I'm saying it, them all! Now! LOve!

  • It ai'nt that expensive,even for goyem.

  • Short nails it.

  • this makes me laugh so much I feel sick..

  • Classic Short as Lewis.

  • I love when he does the angry, serious Jerry Lewis too.. but this is pure genius.

  • Is this available on CD?

  • OH THIS IS SO VERY GOOD! I love Martin!

  • best lewis impersonator ever

  • Classic SCTV!!!

  • "The Death of Emmett Till"..."I didn't even know he was sick!"

    GENIUS.

  • 1:17 ROFL!

  • Genius!

  • LOVE the rolling stone chasing him down the snow-covered street! Better than Prozac! ha to the nth!

  • I was waiting for his version of "Lay Lady Lay"

    Hey, Lady!!!

  • DAMN! That would have been funny!

  • @jmdobies1 OH NICE LADY!!!!!!

  • I love the little Ed Grimley moves that sneak in there!

  • LORD

  • I wanna hear "Only a Hobo"...I've never seen this bit, and I thought I'd seen all of the SCTV eps! SCTV was THE show in the '80s--I taped most of them, but alas, they are gone. Thanks for posting this, thank you, thank you, thank you!!
