Audio-fingerprinting? I don't go to YT to see what I can watch on TV or DVD. I go to see videos that are not offered elsewhere but are relative to my interest. "Audio FP" AND paying users for their videos WILL KILL YT. The guy posting video of his son's little league home run is not looking for revenue, and isn't going to post if he is afraid he may have to pay royalties because he used 10 seconds of "We are the champions" as the a music intro. Revenue = any other studio; pay!
The YT editors must be licking their chops at all the bribes they'll be getting to feature certain videos. Also, look for some very innovative cheating to occur.
