The weird thing that happened was Joel Silver using 2 companies for this movie. His own shingle, Silver Pictures, and Dark Castle, in which that company is mainly used for horror pictures. It's kind of weird when I first saw the movie, I'm like "uh-oh". But I'm happy with the fact that he did.

I thought Spike was possibly on to something when they showed Mask of the Ninja, but that was pure crap. I can now say that THIS is how its supposed to be done. So exciting to see one of my favorite actors finally getting a chance to make a splash stateside. Been watching Rain and other Korean actors doing great work in Kdramas and films for years, and despaired of ever seeing any of them hit it big on western screens. This film is going to make him as huge a star here as in other parts of the world, and, hopefully, open encourage other filmmakers to cast Asian actors in h-wood films, not to mention show how incredibly sexy Asian actors are! Go Rain!
