Nobody assumed IT would relax. There's really no need to distort history when the outcome is, ultimately, we lost all our space and went, briefly home to syndicate, and several other misadventures. IT came back from a staggering loss, and now own their old space. Bravo. Not sure what more you want to hear. Quit getting mad at video games.
@HelixProtocol Way to mix truth with fiction. PL lost a lot of income moons and some stations. Our space was intact. We were still holding and had successfully defended the 'invasion point' that IT and AAA were hammering on, for several weeks, when the disband came.
Up to the disband, our only stark failure was not rescuing PL, but unfortunately, PL really couldn't be rescued at that point, as it had internal issues. A lot of us wanted to do more for PL, that's for sure.
As an NC pilot I fondly remember the days of "Delve II." Say what you like about goons, but they had the audacity to execute one of the biggest upsets in EVE history. And for everyone that cries foul, just remember that dropping SOV in delve by disbanding BOB just leveled the playing field. Goonswarm, backed by NC and PL, abandoned their home regions and went "all-in" on the fight for Delve/Querious/Period Basis. BOB lost an even (no home-advantage) fight. Badly.
@feadus Actually, we're now occupying Deklein, a Technetium-rich region given to us by our BFFs TCF (though for some reason IT et al like to think we're renters and ineffectively troll us to that effect), and making more now than we would have in Delve/Querious post-R64 nerf. I want to get into this game. I've read good things about it a while ago and how it's a sophisticated game with a somewhat steep learning curve engineered for smart and awesome people, which fits my description.
I have a question. There was this supposed epic rivalry, now that one is defeated, is there another 2 factions or does 1 faction (I forget the other name) dominate? Seems kinda boring without 2 major factions. After all, good does not exist without evil.

Bahaha, what exactly has IT taken back from Goons? The only thing they've managed to do since reforming under yet another horrible name is padding our bomber K/D ratios (who cares honestly) and killing DBRB's carrier, which we enjoyed seeing as much if not more then them.

Uh when they killed DBRBs carrier IT alliance lost 40 battleships doing it. IT alliance are the least threatening alliance in the game. We go up there to farm kills.
And they have been :ripping up" Pl and SOT for 2 and a half months now and not gotten even captured a third of fountain despite how they vastly outnumber them. And that's with PL not caring enough to log in most of the time. :)

I want to get into this game. I've read good things about it a while ago and how it's a sophisticated game with a somewhat steep learning curve engineered for smart and awesome people, which fits my description.
I have a question. There was this supposed epic rivalry, now that one is defeated, is there another 2 factions or does 1 faction (I forget the other name) dominate? Seems kinda boring without 2 major factions. After all, good does not exist without evil.

Uh when they killed DBRBs carrier IT alliance lost 40 battleships doing it. IT alliance are the least threatening alliance in the game. We go up there to farm kills.
And they have been :ripping up" Pl and SOT for 2 and a half months now and not gotten even captured a third of fountain despite how they vastly outnumber them. And that's with PL not caring enough to log in most of the time. :)

yeah they killed 5 titans thet were so lagged they never saw themselves get shot. That hednt loaded grid for an hour and a half. I was there, i didn't load grid for 3 hours while bob game in and out shooting us with no resistance.
IT/bob never killed an online functional titan in its entire existence. They have the world record in losing them. And losing whole cap fleets while outnumbering the opposition like happened 2 days ago.

And thats ITs killboard, that _never_ includes the losses for the 10 alliances you dragged with you into fi=ountain but _always_ includes their kills...

Tactics were pretty poor, especially POS shield humping. However, GOON isn't any better imo. 2 sides of the same coin. *shrug* I just like watching people blow up.

YOu do realise they fucked goons using the same tactic 3 weeks before. Stripping sov from a DJ-8vt using a director level spy and hacked accounts. And they may have done the same to r2tj when sov failed there, breaking a vital goon JB link
The difference is that BOD and AAA failed to take the system from goons despite no cynojammers, because Goons faught back like wildcats. The reset sparked the invasion, but Bob lost everything because they were shit and no other reason.

We did not leave the north in Nov. We still had about 30% of our people there, giving them opportunities to hold their new space. Fleets were sent on a regular basis to try and sustain that.
We move partially to H-A to further our campaign.

Ahh yes you had 30% of your fleets there allright.. the north fell in late December. Don't believe me, believe the sov map. The only thing your fleets would have been sustaining is the progress of TCF to sov 3. Not only that g00dfellas disbanded right after, and a large chunk of them joined DICE

With boB gone from 0.0, the last piece of intresting warfare is gone. Cheaters now rule happy-clappy-napland, and CCP does nothing. A broken game mechanic was not fixed, and allowed the work of thousands be destroyed in a millisec.
I didn't expect such a fine game go dead this soon. It had potential, till the point where CCPallowed people to exploit, scam and harass irl. Goons broke every rule i know, and keep on breaking it without being held responsible for it (getting banned).

Only reason people say they 'deserve' this is because of how they were a 1-2 ago. The recent BoB were a lot cooler, maybe not as skillful but they were a better group of people. These were the bunch that sent their Allies into fountain to be slaughtered by PL, called them "Scum" and worthless, and refused point blank to defend any ally towers in the whole bloody war and yet demanded 100% turnout when their own towers were threatened.
