Not everyone likes them... Death Note made a good manga (and Live Action Film) but its anime I felt dragged on a bit. V-Knight was okay. I am ashamed to admit I haven't seen Skip Beat. C-Geass was entertaining but you have to disregard the plot holes and unrefined story development.

Good animes that stand out occur from time to time still. People have it wrong and say the 90s were the best because of popular adult swim shows that had a darker premise than today's popular shows.
