  • Waw

  • this film doesnt make any sence

  • ADRIAN BRODY, ADIEAN BRODY

  • phim nay nham te toi qua vua coi luc 12h khuya tuong hay ket thuc fim thay nham

  • The point of this movie is humans are even worse than monkeys , Don't trust humans

    Shit movie btw

  • It didn't really work because the change is too immediate and severe and the point is lost in personality, still an OK film though

  • they really did this a long time ago at stanford, and people really got into their roles.

  • Brody is ripped and Forest is always edgy!!worth watching!! PLEASE type in GREEN LANTERN THE ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY it is the true story of how GEORGE LUCAS sent off duty CIA agents to threaten my mother with guns PLEASE check it out thanks

  • i saw this film maybe about 3 or 4 months ago and was blown away by it.loved the plot, and the acting of adrien brody and forest whitaker were awesome.especially whitaker how he went from this timid ,shy kind of guy to an intimidating mean man.the movie was intense and kept me excited the whole way.i love these smaller movies.

  • Looks descent. Hopefully it won't suck.

  • you are all wrong. the basis of this movie is : Stanley Milgram experiment...

    google it!!

  • the german version of movie´s even better, they know how to act psychotic

  • This movie was awsome! I loved it, and it didnt really happen, i mean yeah there was an experiment like this but they shut it down after 6 days because people was stared getting depress. No actual violence happen.

  • @dayrinx33 was stared getting depress? I do not know what you mean by that, but because depress (assuming you mean depression) was in there I know you are wrong. They stopped the experiment because Zimbardo's friend stopped by and made him see the light of what the hell was going on

  • @cerebral23 Yeah sorry I spelled it wrong, Its just youtube who cares, and it was actually his girlfriend who made him see the " light". They stopped it because everyones behavior was beginning to changed like for example some stared to get DEPRESSED or having severe anxiety.

  • @dayrinx33 Oh. My bad. I thought she was just a friend.

  • worst fucking movie ever. hour and a half of my life that ill never get back.

Average people pretend to be good guys and bad guys. the pretending actually ends when a guy dies, but the prisioners are gonna keep pretending to be prisoners, thought they outnumber the guards almost 3 to one. fucking pointless. dont watch it

  • @SavageMan717 annndddd there goes the ending for me....

  • Haunting movie.

  • This happened in real life for people who didnt know

  • they have nothing to add to the original.

  • Barris = Obama. Notice how they make it a point to show an anarchist teaming up with a neo-Nazi. Also notice the intentional irony of having the neo-Nazi as one of the oppressed while the emo guy is on the oppressor team. An intentional inversion of expectation. And on top of that, the anarchist is the LEADER of the oppressed (like Spartacus) even though anarchists are supposedly opposted to the concept of leadership.

  • @IggyHazard So wrong it's giving me tears. Let's not talk about your link between Barris and Obama (which is just funny when you don't prove shit) and let's focus on the real story (the true experiment). The "leader" ("number 77" I suppose?) is NOT A FREAKING LEADER to any. The guy was actually rejected by the others oppressed that believed he caused them many troubles.

Real life is not a movie. Learn to read before you learn to write. Nothing nice came out of the experiment. Nothing

  • @iChimoRawr My point was that the movie/s (and the original experiment) can be used to make all sorts of allegories. After "77" breaks out of confinement, he does become a sort of Spartacus figure. He also pulls "71" off Barris just so he can be the one to finish him off.

  • The Pianist (same actor)

  • great movie

  • i kind of liked this movie, bu the ending was so fucking stupid! they were fighting to dead then they laid on the grass waiting for a bus. And they still got paid after 2 men were dead!!!!

  • I think it is stupid to make the exact same film just in another language, if you want to see the film from the stanford prison experiment, than is just 1 movie enough. i guess some people don't know what subtitles are then.

  • This is not a "copy" of "Das Experiment" per se. BOTH of these films, are adaptions of Zimbardo's famous STANFORD PRISON EXPERIMENT. Hit the books people, it's not all about who's copying who's idea of movies.

  • @Jessicaisrealawesome You are right, the actual experiment had to called off early because it got so out of hand. I read about it in Sociology.

  • German version is better

  • This is a really good movie!

  • good movie

  • scary. when put in this situation, people seem to feel justified.

i hope this is not what real prison is like.

God help the masses. And any convicted or incarcerated felons!

  • PERKè I LOGO DELLE GUARDIE è UNA PIRAMIDE?????????????????????????????????????

PERCKè LA GUARDIA NERA KE DIFENDE I PRIGIONIERI GLI DANNO IL NUMERO 076,E IL PROTAGONISTA 077 BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU,RIFLETTIAMO

  • Wait this was made in Germany first? The Germans are the reason we did this experiment in the first place. Stanford, btw. Not Cambridge

  • Entirely based off of the cambridge expeiriments.

  • How could they make the perfect copy of DAS EXPERIMENT??? They have no imagination it's amazing!!! Fucking hollywood bastards...

  • @DiogeneCore why get angry just chill your penis. what effect does it have over your life that they made a re-make? are you gonna miss out on a job because of this movie?? NO! just calm down if you dont like something then dont look at it!! no people like you ruin the world because your saying something hatefull, why did you post your comment? to let everybody now that they are assholes? your such a child much like all these other kids on youtube and little internet haters. ?why man? your poison

  • @DiogeneCore ROFL, Das Experiment wasn't even original, it was based on a real experiment conducted by an American professor thirty years ago.

An American film adaption of an American university experiment? BLASPHEMY, HOLLYWOOD SUCKS TROLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

  • Wait, Al-Saadi Gaddafi produced this? The Wanted by Interpol Al-Saadi Gaddafi? He's a Hollywood producer?

  • loved the movie \^^/

  • germans made the original movie but who did the actual experiment, the US of A, suck it

  • @PUFFDADDYJC, Yeah, you should definitely be proud of that.

  • The Yanks steal every good film from other nations. Ring, Ju-On (Grudge), Rec (Quarantine), experiment, etc. and sell it as their idea. FUCK OFF!!

  • my cousin told about this movie. he always has the worst taste in movies

  • this is a remake of an older movie called "the experiment"

  • the message is, you should not be surprised or astounded that humans behave like this. Life, society, is a veneer; it's a thinly veiled cover of what we really are. Read lord of the flies, we soon revert back to atavistic types when given the chance. Law, informal and formal social control, keeps us away from chaos and anomie. But believe me, experiments by milgram, zimbardo, still relevant.

  • this is age old................

  • Zimbardo's Stanford Prison Experiment. :) I studied this at AS Psychology. Damn interesting.

  • @Willzyyy I also studied this experiment in AP Psychology and now in Sociology, I find this experiment very interesting

  • @Willzyyy Me too! Well, not A levels, because I'm from Aus, but I have the AS & A levels book. The green psychology textbook & I just studied it too!

  • @Willzyyy Spooky stuff, especially the hunger strike.

  • why the hell do amis just don´t show the original german movie ?! -.- instead of making a fucking copy... ?!

  • i watched this movie the other night & at the end of it my facial expression was this 0.0

  • My psychology's exam is about this movie.. GREAT !

  • The U.S. is also re-writing history. Take U571. The US help the struggling Allies as they take a U boat Enigma decoding machine'. Yeah right. "David Ayer admitted that U-571 'distorted' history and stated that he would not do it again. Ayer told BBC Radio 4's The Film Programme that he "did not feel good" about suggesting Americans captured the Naval Enigma cipher rather than the British." What next? ZULU: The Green Berets at Rorke's Drift? U.S. kids must grow up thinking the US did everything!!

  • @biopsychosocio They will grow up beleiveing the US did every ''GOOD'' thing. (that excludes the CIA training Al Quada in the histroy books, apperantly not important enough; Your greatest enemy trained to kill by your own men, oohh how ironic)

  • The original is 10 times better , go watch Das Experiment. I don't get it why Hollywood always tries to remake a European movie and it always fail to be at least as good as the original.. Just like the spanish movie REC.. The japanese movies Ring,Grudge etc, there's tousands of movies being ''americanized'' .. I mean is it so hard to watch a foreign movie with subtitles? if it is go make up a own original movie not taking other's and making them worse..

  • A more commercial remake to a brilliant film is the worst thing that can happen after Abe Sada.

  • Didn't something like this happen in real life?

  • @6KingCooper6 Standford Prison project in england (i think in England) i beleive around 5 guards and 5 prisoners or so and in the end the Guards got corrupted by power and where abusing the prisoners (teazing, making them do push-ups for days, waking them up in the middle of the night to extercise, taking away the matrasses, blankets and beds. It was a fucking disgusting part of Humanity that was shown there. there is a documentary with real life footage i beleive, just google. :D

  • pls stop being chinese and let us keep our films... just translate 'em... I can help you! :)

  • Anyone complaining about Americans remaking European movies, if it's in a foreign language that Americans do not speak, how can they view the movie? Most people don't appreciate subtitles, a remake is a better way. Of course a remake is never better, but that's what has to happen in order to bring films to a larger audience. And let's be honest, this real experiment did happen at Stanford... In AMERICA

  • @TheTenaciousTim So? If it happend in America it stays in America? where are you from, Vegas?

  • @Honorfull about 2600 miles from vegas. and Im saying that an American should be able to make a movie based on an American event

  • @vegan4Christ08 yes, it's called the Stanford Expiriment. This movie is based off of it. Psychologist Phillip Zimbardo created an Experiment to test what it was like for people when the become prisoners or guards. He built a mock prison in the Stanford Psychology buildings basement. The experiment ended after 6 days (was supposed to last 2 weeks) because of too much violence. Look it up it's strange.

  • i don't understand the German one, i can only speak English :L

  • cheap copy of the original german one!

  • anyone else notice that the guards are so hot!

  • My roommate is a grad student in Psychology, and she told me about a real experiment that was done that sounded eerily similar to this movie!

  • Doesn't seem like a very exciting movie.. =/ Nothing special

  • @DjAereas Beleive me, is really good (y)

  • I just saw a documentary about this on how it really happened and it was less violence and action than in this film. The prisoners had to do puch ups, and they'd get locked up in a tight dark room if they misbehaved. After a couple of days, the professor took a look on how it was going, he found it too harmful and too unhuman that he cancelled the experiment. In the film it's different but I understand it because it's a film and it should be entertaining and not educative...

  • fuck this movie pissed me off fucken shit

  • hollywood siempre copiando de otros, la versión alemana es millones de veces mejor que esta

  • I'm terrified by the trailer...

  • this movie was different the what i expected... and better. it has a slight gritty reality perspective and shows the primal nature of mankind. 7/10

  • I like it!!!

  • Again America has no better ideas than ripping of other countries movies. Why not showing the original movies in your theatres?

  • @mpettel ACTA would bust their asses. . .

  • @mpettel exactly! the german version made in 2001 one is just completely the same! not even any creative aspects in the 2010-version! just a cheap copy with some famous actors

  • @mpettel We'll America came out wit avatar...you know the movie that made the most money in the world beating Titanic so I beg to differ and guess what believe it or not America does come out with a lot of good movies I would I live in SoCal. I would like to not that im not trying to be an asshole and I expecting your mature enough to not be one, not saying you are though

  • @XxxxXJediXxxxX i disagree i mean i loved this remake but at leat they should have shown some respect and announce this as a remake of someone elses ideas cuz i mean they talk about SOPA of about not stealing another people ides and then they do this? it's just an opinion...

  • @lohug You're an idiot. The experiment was conducted in the US, if anything those ugly german faggots need to admit they stole the idea.

  • @TheRealDaddyBones the fact that the experimant was made in the US doesn't mean it wasn't a german idea...

  • @mpettel Are you fucking stupid? "ripping of other countries movies"? You do know that both of the films are based on the Stanford Prison incident, which was in the US?. They didn't rip off anything, they did a re-make...

  • @ak47santic It doesn't matter where the incident was. All that matters is that this movie is the same, scene by scene, as the german movie. No own ideas, no alternative storyline. Just an uninspired Rip off.

Just like "Girl with a dragon tattoo" and a lot of japanese movies.

  • @mpettel it's the writer and the owner of the concept's choice whether there is a remake or something similar to the original; they were obviously notified, so calm down

  • @mpettel Why not writing the coherent sentence in your comments?

  • @mpettel fuck you

  • @SuperTrailerDotNet Very good. This helps to keep this discussion on a high level.

  • @mpettel they don't do voiceovers like we have in Germany. So they do a remake...

  • @mpettel

Because it is America. A dying movie industry (if not Peter Jackson and Steven Spilberg is beeing born in another life when they die).

  • Comment removed

  • @mpettel agreed

  • @mpettel It's favorable for the industry

  • Why do Americans have to make a remake of any good European and Asian movie? Amd actually fuck it up?

    See Das Experiment..it is better

  • I still don't understand it, and how did black guy get so intoxicated with power that he harms a fellow experimenter?

  • @Brachio12898 If you google Stanford Prison Experiment, I think you'll get your answer. They did a study back in the day that was pretty much the exact same premise as this movie, except for real. Subjects were divided into prisoners and guards, and pretty soon, the subjects started to become what they were roleplaying. Many of the "guards" got drunk on power and became power crazed sadists. Good game human nature.

  • @buzongtang It was not as violent as presented...Zimbardo ended the experiment right after his girlfriend told him that it was not only changing the subjects into actual guards and prisoners...it was changing HIM as well

  • This is the fucking second time they lock up Brody in compartment just large enough to keep one person!!! Whats up with that? A special request from Brody himself? Perhaps... :)

To those who havent seen "The Jacket." This is an order: Watch it!!! Great movie.

  • @KigreTheViking Holy shit man, the second time?? Really??

  • @ingentingerledigteit It doesnt sound that much... but when the scenes look that similar. Somethings fishy is going on...:) And when they end up doing it a third time!??? What do u say then!? :D

  • FUCK YOU ZIMBARDO

  • stanford prison study anyone...

  • @LinkinParaJJluvr its based off that

  • @LinkinParaJJluvr exactly what I was thinking

  • @LinkinParaJJluvr

I always thought it was the Zimbardo Experiment. But you're right, that was just the person who conducted it.

  • Still a gud movie!! Imo lol

  • oh hello zimbardo prison study.

  • i think interesting idea, but executed poorly...

  • @9879novo This is based on a true story..

  • @sodium44 no its not

  • @MrChannel5news it is

  • @MickEvers7 give me a link to a site where the story is based on then

  • @MrChannel5news search this movie on the english wikipedia. It is based on a real experimen, in 1974.

  • @MrChannel5news well google "das experiment" or stanford prison study". Then tell me im wrong once again

  • Hmmmm this reminds me of an experiment they did at Stanford I think.

  • The movie was fucking great but the ending was fucking fake and shit, nobody died exept the fat guy?????????????

  • wait, first its Gaddafi, not Kaddafi, second why cant i find anything about him producing this movie?

  • I can't believe how the human mind works, it so strange! It was amazing how it was showing that men do what they can to survive in the end, and when they are pushed far enough, their killer instincts emerge. The prisoners were like wild animals by the end.

  • This was AMAZING!

  • Seriously, just watch Zimbardo's Stanford Prison Experiment - that's interesting enough without throwing Adrian Brody in

  • this was a great movie but it is sad when i found out it was base real events. And this a a real experiment that was done on people

  • @10grandfather1

It's not the fact that it was actually done on people, it is how the people in the experiment reacted. Anyone of us could react this way (with less over-acting ofc).

  • @10grandfather1 ....really? you didn't realize that from the beginning? Zimbardo did this WAY before 2000, let alone 2010. Not to mention he's done multiple books where he's mentioned it, and other books that have mentioned him. and it's still discussed in any anatomy/psychology class. It's a major experiment. Watch it, it's kind of more terrifying than this.

  • @ohlalaemmii Indeed he did the Stamford prison experiment in 1971

  • @ohlalaemmii OK i am only 19 and i have only just finished high school and i did not take a psychology class. And i have seen the hole movie and i do agree with u it is very disturbing to watch. And before i watch it i had no idea about it.

  • this was a great movie man they must make 1000s of those

  • lol I learned about this experiment a year ago in class. I now know how to make a few lessons more intresting bout watching this film :)

  • When I was in psychology class, I read about a real social experiment that was sort of like this except I think the prisoners were uni students or something.

  • @SergeantFiasco

Yeah I think it's based on that experiment.

  • @SergeantFiasco Yes, Stanford 1971. German version is much better though.

  • @hiphoponeworld Hmmm... I'm hearing that the German version is better but I can't seem to find it! =/

  • @SergeantFiasco Just google "Das Experiment"

  • @SergeantFiasco thats what this movie is based on. scary.

  • OMG MAX FROM FRIENDS (SERIES 1) WHERE DID HE GO FOR 20 ODD YEARS!?!

  • @xrebby1 gahhh i wondered the same thing!!

  • @FongioHELS Haha great minds think alike!!

  • this movie was messd up but like one of those psychological movies

  • I remember seeing the real social experiment footage of this study. Was interesting

  • TOOOIIIIILLEEETTT

  • adrien brody is great

  • Das experiment is way better! even though it is a german movie

  • learned about this in psychology today

  • is it a remake of the german film "das experiment" with moritz bleibtreu?

  • soo... it's basically the exact same film as the german one.. but in english?

  • Trailer had me thinking it was gonna be better than it was. Interesting but at the same time a big let down.

  • I haven't seen this movie yet, but what if the whole thing is a set up and the red light will never be turned on?

  • german version is better!!

  • @23ferl European versions are always better.

  • phillip zimbardo's prison study all over

  • @Mynameis29178 yeah. too bad it does not say anywhere "based on a actual study... BUT because we are Hollywood we are going to fuck it up". anyways great movie

  • this movie was also made by a german producer ... same story ...

  • C&C Tiberium Wars soundtrack in background?

    WTF

  • shouldve made it time period that this experiment actually took place and made it more like a true story.

  • Of course there are similarities to The Stanford Prison Experiment, but there was not violence anywhere near the level in this movie. Watch the documentary made for it.

  • The Stanford prison experiment !!!

  • Reminds me of a real experiment in the past Stanford prison experiment

  • good film

  • Comment removed

  • This is a true story,,,i experiment like this happend years ago...somewhere in the 70 i think!! i had this in my filosofie clash 3years ago

  • @IkBenJose the Stanford Prison Experiment or Zimbardo's Prison study, you must have not read the top comment

  • the main actor was more likable in the original imo

  • german one was better

  • @EarCndy What's the name of the german one ? :)

  • @froseo9 das experiment

  • this is a german film its call das experiment
