  • @shardin2011 same here, to all those things. im 19, 90's country music all the way.

  • This was one of the best times in country music! Vince Gill is timeless.

  • You mean to tell me that this song has only slightly less than 300k "listens" but the average pop song today has like 100 million? BS man. That is rediculous. There's a lost generation out there.

  • The best part of this video is Reba McEntire as a waitress! :) LOVE Vince Gill!

  • @myshell1497 I Love Miss Reba

  • This is what you do... shut off the TV and head to the local library! I was born in the early 70's and my kids love the music from when I was little!!! Especially country, it is not as threatening as music today. Your local library is the place to check out the good ol music for free!!!

  • I agree with those who say this song is wonderful, and that the music from today has little to no meaning or feeling. However I was born in the mid-nineties, and I cannot agree with those who say "poor kids born after this time period". I know many kids who still listen to and enjoy this type of music, and do not think that a stereo-type fits us all. Still though, great music, and amazing voice. :)

  • OMG that smileee on the early video... he is sexiest country man alive on earth!!!!!i want to kissssssssssssssss him!!

  • Randall Tex Cobb is funny

  • I love this song! ;D

  • I was born in 77 and throw all you bible belt holier than thou assholes to the sinde. Vince Gill has a great voice but religion if for fools

  • I WANT THAT STRATOCASTER! lmao

  • Hey yout5944, I also saw Kevin Welch, LeRoy Parnell, Patty Loveless & several folks that I couldn't name but the face is familiar. Oh and it was Kelly Willis. I would like to see the complete list of all the guest stars on this great video.

  • @Bobsully1952 me too! there were a couple of fellas from the kentucky head hunters, michael mcdonald (doobie brothers), country talk show host ralph emery ... so many more -- i'm so excited to hear from someone who is excited .... ok randall "tex" cobb ... your turn

  • @ncfazer Oh wow. Thanks for clearing that up.

  • Not exactly a bunch of amateurs in that band!!

  • Thumbs up if you saw Vince Gill at Pinehurst NC a couple weeks ago. Good show man, good show. I think I'll be coming back again if I get the chance.

  • I was born in 1979. And grew up listen to real country.

  • 6 people would rather be listening to "its friday, friday"

  • lo omgl this is so awesome i think i was like 12 or 13 years old and everytime i was at my girlfriends house her dad used to play alot of country and all these years ive been trying to find out what this was called. Funny thing is im usually a hip hop/r&b/rock kind of a guy...but not any more thanks mr henderson (my girlfriends dad at the time) and thanks for uploading this!!!!!!!!

  • If you traveled across the whole country you couldn't find this many fine women....Today's female wears pajama bottoms, sweatshirts, and flip flops.....Oh yeah that's real hott.......Take a look in the mirror girls......Or better yet, watch the video again !!!!!

  • @bobbyozb Haahaa, it's funny you should mention that!! Just today my daughter was making fun of how we wore our shirts tucked into our jeans, back then:) We dressed classy then:)

  • good song, but is there really room for 10 guitar players in one band?

  • @ajmizur

There is when you get a bunch of different music acts together for one video. ZZ Top, Little Jimmy Dickens, Reba McEntire, Kentucky Headhunters, Micheal McDonald, Pam Tillis, and I'm not sure about the Guitarist to his right but I think that's Mel Tillis, father of Pam. They all appear in the video.

  • @paladin6900 You forgot Carl Perkins......the guy in the glasses

  • @paladin6900 If you're thinking of the guy playing the piano as one of the guys from ZZ Top, it's actually Leon Russell.

  • I think I saw this vid when it first appeared...It's a great tune performed perfectly.

Everyone was just having so much fun!!!!!!!! I watch it and play along about once a week.

Thanks Vince and I hope that every day is like that for you.

  • Damn woulda loved to be on that video shoot. So much talent there can't even name them all!!!

  • Thanx for postin' the full vid, complete with presong dialogue. Also, cameos of Reba McEntire, along with Michael McDonald on keyboards. Who sang the harmony vocal with Vince on the original studio version? Somebody let me know. Hit #1 in Billboard, 12-26-92. God bless!

  • The Georgia Satallites are back there too.

  • Do ya see Little Jimmy Dickens back there too? He`s been around a long time.

Met him at a truck stop in Wyoming one winter night when I drove over the road over 30 years ago. He still looks the same.:)

  • The woman at 0:38, wow! Great song.

  • Dangit!

I was born in '94, and all I listen to is '50s-'80s (mostly Rock/Pop) and '90s country, and a few newer songs. WHY was I born when all the good music was either already made or just coming out?

Thankfully I remember about '96 and up, and my dad listening to the '50s - '80s Rock/Pop I love so much; and the '90s country like this (Shania Twain, Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, etc) my mom listened too.

Eh, at least I can still listen to the songs!!

    =D

  • Haha I took me forever to realize Reba McIntire and Pam Tillis are in this vid...I must've watched it 10000 times
