@ballinlough12345 Depends, if you can get a car that isn't worth a damn, are skilled in city traffic and have nerves of steel, Rome is quite fun to drive in. If not, it can get quite ennerving, at least. I would advise against a rental though, it's not such a large city to drive in, public transportation isn't expensive, and at least you don't have the constant danger of having your car damaged, which, it being a rental, could get expensive.
