They're not chevy fenders, the fenders were fabricated for the 2006 Ashley and Smith Baja Champions. The 2006 GM trucks don't have the fender they have on their 2007s do a search and you'll see.

I have no idea if you look at these comments or not, but do you self a favor and buy some detroit lockers and 4.56 gears. And if your going to play on the trails or in the mud go with big tire small rim combos, you get way better traction and flotation.

Yes sir I got Front ARB air locker, rear detroit lockers, had 4.56 gears on this video but now I have 4.88 and I'm running 37x12.5/18 on 8" Rize Industries and yes I have gotten better results. But I'm done with mud now, mud had destroyed a lot of components on my truck so I only do trial riding.

Bottom line a good engine builder can get make a Ford of Chevy engine scream.

But, I'd venture to guess you'll find a lot more aftermarket parts for SBC's than SBF's.

That, and the fact that Chevy guys like early fords and power them with SBC's since it's what their used to working on.

Ford 9" rears are still the top pick.

I have one in my Camaro and don't think for a minute that it's breaking some kind of purity law. Use what works for you, but I don't see many Ford powered Chevy's..why?

Because aftermarket Ford parts cost more and it takes chevy parts to make a BBF run. Have to use chevy valves, rocker arms and push rods with high lift cams. But i dont care..I would still take a Bored and stroked 427 ford over a383 chevy. So what do you have built up in your camaro? I bult a 275 horse inline 6 300 for my street truck and 300 horse H.O. 5.0 for my bogging truck.

Ford vs. Chevy debate rages on!

Fact is anything made in the last 20 years is junk! I own both Ford's and Chevy's and I'd much rather have any early model of either one than a new P.O.S. castrated, computer controlled, space turd.

They don't make them like they used to and probably never will as long and CHINA and MEXICO are involved.

I also have a newer F150 supercab & every month something goes on it. Sensor here, bad pulley there, TQ, loose plugs, broken studs, every day a new surprise!

Thanks for the compliments and constructive criticism. Changing gears, I'm removing my 2yr old 6" Pro Comp lift and replacing it with an 8" Rize lift kit, as we speak. With the Pro comp I ran 35 X13.50R18 Toyos, but now, with the Rize lift I'll be running 38X13.50R18 Toyos, just the right ground clearance I need. Rize lift is bullet prove in comparison to Pro Comp. I heard Fabtech is OK, whatever you do, do not go with Pro Comp if you plan on wheeling. Check me out at F150 Forum under OGTerror.
