i think the message that prayer does not work (meaning, it does not produce change in our lives regarding the things we are praying about) is erroneous. Jesus, our example in this life, prayed to the Father in heaven and the Father answered his prayers. Jesus then encouraged his disciples and followers to do the same. in fact, christian believers are encouraged to pray and believe God for results when we pray all through the new testament.
Life is so tender, so fragile, and so very precious! In the continuing days ahead when the quiet moments come and the hurt is hard to bear, Love will be your shelter and your comfort.
