  • Mane Tupac sho could toss a nigga salad. He gay thuggin fo sho.

  • We ain't meant to survive, cause it's a setup

And even though you're fed up

Huh, ya got to keep your head up

  • Last night my buddy lost ALMOST his whole family

It's gonna take the man in me to conquer this insanity

It seems tha rain'll never let up

I try to keep my head up, and still keep from gettin wet up

You know it's funny when it rains it pours

They got money for wars, but can't feed the poor

Say there ain't no hope for the youth and the truth is

it ain't no hope for tha future And then they wonder why we crazy

I blame HIS mother, for turning MY HOMEBOYS brother into a crack baby

  • And all I had ta give her was my pipe dream

Of how I'd rock the mic, and make it to tha bright screen

I'm tryin to make a dollar out of fifteen cents

It's hard to be legit and still pay tha rent

And in the end it seems I'm headin for tha pen

I try and find my friends, but they're blowin in the wind

  • Aiyyo, I remember TUPAC SHAKUR, used to sing ta me

He had me feelin like ARAB was tha thing to be

And suddenly tha HOOD didn't seem so tough

And though we had it rough, we always had enough

I huffed and puffed about my curfew and broke the rules

Ran with the local crew, and had a smoke or TWENTY TWO

And I realize momma really paid the price

She nearly gave her life, to raise me right

  • since we all came from a women, got our name from a women, and our game from a women. I wonder why we take from women, why we rape our women, do we hate our women? I think its time we killed for our women, be real to our women, try to heal our women, cus if we dont we'll have a race of babies that will hate the ladies, who make the babies. And since a man can't make one he has no right to tell a women when and where to create one”

  • best parts of this song.."some say the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice, i say the darker the flesh then the deeper the roots" ...:and since a man cant make one he has no right to tell a women when and where to create one"....."i try to find my friends but they blowin in the wind"...."you know its funny when it rains it ours they have money for wars but cant feed the poor"..."we aint meant to survive cause its a setup" thanks 2pac for saying the truth we miss you R.I.P Tupac Shakur

  • LEGEND

  • 2pacs means everything he says his lyrics is as real as it gets r.i.p legend´´

  • You know its funny, when it rains it pours, they got money for wars, but can't feed the poor. --What has really changed in the US government since the early nineties?? A black president? It is clear that politics is fake, no politician can keep it real and become president. Nowadays its just corporate sponsored popularity contest. When they use demographics to plan their strategies, its the first step in becomming sociopaths... Damn!

  • he never lost himself

  • This is the real 2pac i loved to hear ....hated his later work when he caved in to the whole gangsta movement bullshit and lost himself.

  • @dnrmafia

He was a product of his environment. After putting out a song like this one, some girl wrongly accused him of sexual assault. After that he said he'll never write another "Keep Your Head Up". That experience plus actually spending time in jail probably got to him. He was still a true talent.

  • one of those verses Tupac said they have money for wars but cant feed the poor i think hes right. There has been a war in the middle east seen i was born in 93 but thats iraqs war to fight the government doesn't want u to know they are spending money on B.S. billions of dollars on a pointless and yeah we killed osama but at the end was it worth bankrupting the U.S at the end buying millions of weapons only to try and sell them to replay the shit.

  • rip to eazy e 2pac biggy and nate dogg reall legends not like music today the kind of music get boaring and gives you headaches but not old school there was always something new to hear unlike now

  • Good track....Reminds me of tha good ol dayz,..every line still rings true tho.

  • i will never EVER get tired of this song!

  • This song is epic in every way. I always recommend this song to anyone who doesn't listen to hip hop. I mean how can you go wrong with talking about the truth? Glad I grew up to this.

  • i play this song everyday on my ipod, no joke, i can never get tired of it

  • Lol

  • The LAST real artist!!! RIP 2Pac!!

  • I actually kno what happend to tupac shakur!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (i have a legitamet source who got death threats for his involvement in the situation). Suge knight owed tupac lots of money so he hired policemen to kill him but suge knight, being the evil genius that he is, knew that if tupac died, everyone would know it was him so he hired policemen to kill bigge small also to make it look like some east vs west shit. FUCK SUGE KNIGHT. RIP TUPAC and BIGGIE!

  • The 90's were filled with tragedy..

    '97-Biggie Died

    '96-Tupac Died

    '95-Eazy-E Died

    '94-Justin Bieber was born

    Rough years.. Rough Years..

listen to Feelin420 if you like ganja!

If these legends were still alive, 90% of rappers today would work at McDonalds!

  • @smokingtime420420 so what the fuck does Justin Bieber got to do with 90% of rappers? I swear most you faggot fancy Bieber its all you ever talk about on rap songs

  • @frodho685 set up by the LAPD

  • Pac thank you so much for Inspiring Black people with your Music/Message. Especially young Black men like myself. 4ever missed!!

  • I remember growing up in the subarbs, but my friends were from the hood. I wanted to fit in so I tried to keep up with rap music. 1992 I turned on the radio when my religiously strict parents weren't home and heard this song for the first time. It spoke to my soul and changed my life. It let me know what's really going on outside of my prodominantly white fairy tale neighborhood.

  • Classic....Best rapper of all time hands down

    !!!!!!

  • 181 niggas dnt know real muzik

  • 181 people have their necks broken so they cant keep their heads up!!

  • They spent a average 74.6 billion dollars in the war. Think how many ppl would be able to eat wit that.

  • "you know its funny when it rains it pours, they got money for wars but cant feed the poor" -Tupac Shakur

Realest thing ive heard in rap

  • "got money for war but can't feed the poor". True then, true now.

  • @yechan1974 tru that man, thats the realest thing ive heard in rap

  • "slowly shaking my head up n down"

  • 181 reasons to use condoms

  • heroes get remembered but legends never die

    - Baby Ruth

  • YOU CANT SAY THIS SHIT ANY BETTER TUPAC

  • the song is here so shut up and enjoy

  • thumbs up if you think 2-pac is cute!!!!

  • WHO THE FUCK IS ANDY GRAMMAR??? This is the REAL Keep Ya Head Up.... Tupac Shakur isn't dead... because Legends NEVER DIE...

  • @geezyhamilton130 andy grammar is a white boy

  • I feel bad for kids that grew up in the '00s. They never got a chance to listen to real hip hop that actually had a positive message such as this song. Now a days all you hear about is sex, rack on racks on racks and leaving the club drunk....What type of message are we sending. Tupac said it best "They Say there ain't no hope for the youth and the truth is it ain't no hope for the future" I'll hate to hear what our kid's kids will be listening too....

  • @fredmagic09 the music died around 2005 so the kids who know who em is and dre is its ok

  • @fredmagic09 that is one hell of a comment xp

  • @fredmagic09 all of the problems my generation faces r because of the previous 1 it was the people who created a war in iraq, the people who put porn on the internet and more and more sex in the media it's those people who r affecting my childhood and i hope my generation is the last one who experiences this the previous gen didn't have to see the pain of divorce or single parents it will get brighter on the other side

  • @MrBuggab00 THANKS U COULDNT SAY IT BETTER, PORN AND ALL THIS MEDIA BULLSHT IS PLAGUING THE MINDS OF OUR MEN LEAVING MOTHERS SINGLE WITH THESE BABIES

  • @fredmagic09 Sucks that I was born in 1994 but at least I experienced some of the good days of music and life in general. Things got bad in 2005.

  • i agree with u this was and still is real music he rapped about the truth the stuff now days isnt rap its crap

  • @fredmagic09 im srry sir but your are wrong the game was going strong then T.i showed up and then soulja boy and he single handily killed music

  • @fredmagic09 dont worry man im 12 and all friends listin to tupac and we spreadin the word gettin rid of all lil wayne and chris brown

  • @fredmagic09 Just like our parents can't stand what we listen to. And their parents can't stand what they listened to. Shut the fuck up and get the fuck over it. No body cares. Nothing changes except the days on the calender.

  • @fredmagic09

they will be listening to tektonik

  • @fredmagic09 im from 95´ , my brother is from 85´ because of him i grew up with 2-pac and biggie (y)

  • @fredmagic09 i agree with you 100% on that no one knows how this world is gonna turn out to be??

  • @fredmagic09 i was born in 1998 & i listen to it

  • @fredmagic09 i kinda feel that the word "real" is more of an opinion when talking about music, but there are a lot of positive songs right now. even lil wayne has some positive songs. but just as time changes so does the music we listen to.

  • @fredmagic09 Agree, agree indeed..

  • @fredmagic09 Man, it will probably be much more positive. Let's not forget life goes in cycles...

  • @fredmagic09 i was born ten days after pac died.... and being raised throughout the shitty produced music today,I realize that this is REAL music. FUCK DRAKE, FUCK MAC MILLER, FUCK LIL WEEZY.

    Tupac R.i.p. <3

  • @fredmagic09 What about Immortal Technique? That's real Hip Hop. Rap ain't dead we just revived it and took it underground! Viva La Revolucion!

  • @fredmagic09 that era had its own tupac just not like ours, as far as music, lyrics, and messages to our youth goes or what they will listen too is on them to filter the real from FAKE. Stick too real and positive if thats wat u preach, music is not the single sole building block of life. Tupacs music and lyrics were and will probably be the best out there but even if i loved em and his music, he wasnt a saint. Rest in peace Tupac, we all gettin there soon

  • @fredmagic09 I'm listening to this, not everyone is doomed.

  • Comment removed

  • how could 181 ppl dislike this song? To know that even tough guys, street men, ganster, thugs, hardcores if you will can even feel for girls who go threw tough times such as these is heart warming.

  • u gotta keep your head up

  • I really don't understand how this type of music drifted away. Where did it go and when will it come back? I'm sick of hearing auto-tuned artists these days, nobody talks about real shit any more, nobody raps about real shit any more, I feel like this isn't even planet earth and a bunch of aliens done took over the music industry. Shit just ain't the same, Tupac's videos is all we got left to grasp onto to the golden days where rap was real. It's fucked up he's gone.

  • @FilmFanatic5 TOTALLY agree with u man. TOTALLY

  • @FilmFanatic5 TOTALLY agree with u man.

  • thank you for presenting his video-PEACE !
