this guy is the real deal! he has a great voice and he can play the guitar in such a unique way? i have never heard a guy play the guitar like him in mainstream music! when is the second album out? its a must have....

no, he is a great musician, but in my own personal oppinion the best gutarist was django reinhardt, and for singer i would say either matt bellamy or joni mitchell

I saw Jose gonzalez live in February He was amazing. I'm seeing him for the second time in august- i can not wait. He sounds so much better live.
And this is my favorite song by him.

I was in a car listening to this on my Ipod, and I started thinking about death. I was daydreaming and these crazy thoughts of death were coming up, different ways of my dying. I dont know why, but his music puts me in these such depth thoughts. I love his music but its insane.

Daydreaming of death while driving your car may actually lead to death...but come on....we don't want your life story and not your death story...get a grip and next time listen to the lyrics and not just the word dead in the title "it's not what it seems"...Don't take your personal problems out on other peoples songs you little fish monger...I bet you suck cok for bacci and swallow for a skin. Fantastic song. The refinced vocals complement the sophisticated guitar playing. Best song from "Veneer" in my opinion.
