excellent playing, but why leave in the one minute of applause at the end of the performance? to anyone not tone deaf, it's obvious that the soloist did an outstanding job of finely expressing all the nuance of the late Maestro Villa Lobos. the small orchestra performed extraordinarily well, and the conductor is clearly sympathetic to the music of the composer. so, why leave in the applause? for some of us who make playlists of composers' works, the clapping destroys the mood for the next video.
I don't know.... I kind of felt it wasn't together with the orchestra at times and it was like she tried too hard to play musically and forced the issue. I felt like I was on a boat ride. The movement was just silly considering there were tons of blips and missed notes. :/
Great interpretation. This is one of the best performances I've heard of the piece. Articulation was just fantastic. Indeed, the end of the third is just killer.

@eguchi351 In my band, it's a joke to poke fun at the other instruments. I'm not musically ignorant, thank you. It sounds great, so calm down.

@FashionbabyP and by movement, I mean that constant swaying! Musicians should move... but not to the point that it gets ridiculous!
