either A - this is a completely pointless room with no trap, and I somehow managed to move the error away (and decided to move it straight down, rather slowly, instead of just hitting don't send), and yet I'm still able to control the character after this even though logically the game should be frozen (and you can't send input to the game if it's not the active window)...

or B - it was programmed into the game as a trap.

Which do you think seems more likely?

First sign showed up at : 54 seconds

End of the track : 2 minutes and 36 seconds. That’s 156 seconds.

156 – 54 = 102 seconds

So 102 seconds was the time it took from the first sign to the end of the track. And The Boy travelled 10000 KM.

If the cart went 10000 Km in 102 seconds, simple comparison shows that it travelled about 5882 km per minute. That’s 352920 Km per hour.

I recognized the Monty on the Run theme immediately, it's one of my favorites too ^_^ Ever heard of the band Machinae Supremacy? They did a compilation of a bunch of C64 stuff, called the Sidology trilogy, and it includes that song. Every game theme I've ever heard them cover, their rendition is the best I've heard. You might like to check them out if you haven't, I don't know it's just a friendly suggestion ^_^
