I'm not sure what you mean by someone limiting God. I mean to say, don't we all do this? Who among us may place a fence around The Almighty?
Without going into semantics here, would it be reasonable to say that BECAUSE God is a person, then I as his child also am a person?

He's saying that God's power transcends that of His energy and creations that can be felt. In other words, if you were to achieve moksha and become a deva, you would only be an aspect of his energy, the being Vishnu Himself is a being with a consciousness like a person, who cannot be touched. He has His own feelings, but we can only feel His energy. Brahma, Indra, and Shiva do not come close to Vishnu. Blood helps the physical body to appear alive (hence blood is sacred). But your wording makes it seems like you're undermining the shell...which is not per se dead. It works in unison with the soul; can't have one without the other. No body= no soul, no soul= no life

I believe it is both. I believe that one divided into all for the purpose of interacting with 'the illusionary selves' for multiple purposes. Time is that which keeps everything from happening at once, also a unit of unveiling all actions and reactions. Within time, one cannot do everything at once, or all by oneself, so we were created. Also, it would get very boring being the only one here.
