It seems to sound really good. It would work but maybe i could recommend maybe taking the beat off from "one and only" and only leaving the words because with the beats from both songs it makes it seem to busy. Love the artist and good ear.

Download some DJ software, get yourself some instrumentals and some clean acapella files and play around, its the best way to get started. I've made a few i've put on youtube that people seem to like and i didnt know what i was doing at first

OK.

first of all, the tempos are all diffrent, learn or get like a program that can match tempos of songs ur mixing, and they will blend together alot better, also get instrumentals as well as vocalised versions of the songs and it gives u alot more room for dynamic changes and moulding of the songs.

remixing is easy when u ahve the proper gear and knowledge, just check out some instructional websites, they help alot:)
