They're moons, apparently. I'm just annoyed that they gave into the pressure and killed off Pluto... (My guess is that they couldn't make the orbit accurately, even if it was still "technically" a planet.

Actually you CAN land on gas planets. Its this star called UL or something with one planet orbiting, and it has Hypersonic Landing Gear. Your radar won't pick it up, but it's easy to find because it has a ring of lava geysers that shoot up together around it.

Actually, Pluto is a comet which hasn't moved close enough to the sun to ignite it's "tail", but due to the cigar shape of it's orbit, it does not move around the sun in the shape of a planet at all.

I want this game so badlyyyy. I was gonna get a new video card for my computer so I could run it, but then I found out that I have 504 MB of RAM instead of the 512 that it says it does on the box. So even if I do upgrade my video card, it won't be able to start. So unless I either buy a better computer, pay, $300+ dollars for a memory expansion, or the (supposed) Wii version is released before Christmas, I'll have to pass on Spore.

When it was destroyed the effects it had on planets it was used on stopped amd they reverted to what they were before they were terraformed. But traces of the effects remained, however on planets such as Venus, the traces were annihilated one way or another. But on Mars, traces of the Staff of Life's use was... and is still visible.

Now we move on to the question; if I used my staff of life on all the unlivable planets, how come they are unlivable now?

Well here is my theory on how the staff of life works to explain my theory as how to answer that question.

The Staff of Life, even when all it's charges are used up, can still keep all the planets it was used on, perfect temperature-wise, and atmosphere-wise. Then something happened and it was destroyed.

Ok, so when I found the planets, suprisingly Earth wasn't completely level T3 (fully habitable) for my species. Being lazy and not understanding of terraforming, I used my newly gotten Staff of Life to make all the planets perfect for my species.

they took a real satellite image of the earth to make that planet so of course Pangaea wouldn't be there because they don't know exactly what it would look like. only a rough estimate...which could very well be accurate but no one knows.
