those cars don't have the glass breakage sensor which the alarm goes off when the glass is broken, i don't think it was optional onto that specific hyundai sonata. feel sorry you man, do you live in a dangerous area??/
Well, update... 9 months later!! I got a call from the Euless Police Dept saying that a couple was arrested in a city about 45 minutes away from me and they had a ton of pawn tickets....and one was for my TomTom GPS. AWESOME!! except for the fact that I just bought a new one last month... guess I will have to sell the recovered one. Hopefully it's not all beat up. The detective said it may be a few weeks before I get it back though.. : (

I had my tomtom 520 stolen from my car a couple of days ago aswell, they smashed my passenger window and took my sat nav which was hidden under the drivers seat!
Atleast they never took my Ipod, Radar Detector and dvd headunit which were also under the seat. 11 Am infront of a bus stop full of people, nobody tried to stop them! they we`re both about 12 years old!!!!!!! And it all happened about 2 minutes before I returned! Bummer.
yeah dude. woke up this morning, headed to my car to go to work and saw tons of my shit everywhere on the street. luckily they just broke a tiny piece of my window (instead of the whole thing - who knows, considerate crackheads?) but it was enough to get in and take my gps and ipod. fuckers.
@phillipdlee I bring my gps in during the night because i am paranoid hearing all these stories, i don't even want to try to hide it in my car because i figure the thief will expect that (stinks cause sometimes i forget my gps and i need it)

Yea I was pissed... learned my lesson about leaving stuff in plain sight I guess. $600 for the GPS, and $250 to replace the window! expensive lesson

Lost Nuvi 660, Really good Sony Receiver cdx gt500, 2 12'' kickers and a sony mono amp.
My window cost me $35 at the junkyard and i struggled with it for an hour......and some blood from the glass
