Those things have a minuture tesla coil in them, they hurt like crazy! I had a shock pen, it stopped working in a week. When it did work though, you could place the shock end on a metal bench at school, and shock people who had their hands on it. LOL a guy I know used one on a street lamp at the crosswalk and scared the crap out of a guy leaning on it.
