Hi. Brilliant video as ever. I am in awe! But I have to say that Nunney Castle worked over the Royal Albert bridge in June 2010, double heading with KEI on Steam Dreams' "Cornish Riviera".
Superb performance from man and machine Ry, Fantastic shots, and as always you get to the best locations to get such magnificent footage that we all enjoy.....and I enjoyed every single minute of it...Bob
@robmasterman Thank you for full appreciation Bob, it took some planning out to get to these locations. I have to say this run has most likely been Nunney's best run yet.
Hi Ryan: another set of superb clips at well chosen locations. Joining the debate on your regular dislikers: you should actually take these as veiled praise, otherwise known as jealousy, which often accompanies talent in all walks of life. Since we first met you as a wet and cold youth at Churston, you have become one of the best rail filmers on the web. Keep it up. Alan & Margaret
@Steamclips I understand now its just I decided to send out a message them tossers by saying how much effort, cost and ambition it takes to get some of these shots we die to get. But for now on I'm just gunna let them vote what they want. Have you done any shots from that day at all? I havn't seen any films from you yet :/
It's inconceivable to me that anyone could genuinely dislike any of your videos AS VIDEOS. Either someone has a grudge against you OR, and don't dismiss this out of hand, they've accidently hit the wrong button. The more likely people are to click the 'Like' button the more likely will those people accidently click the one alongside it.
An outstanding compilation. I really enjoyed it. As I am based in London I have only seen Nunney and the Earl once each. Both were great performances. The only engine that is consistently matching them for good performances is Oliver Cromwell. By the way, I noted some commentators have mentioned that you had one dislike. Ignore the dislike. He, or she is out-voted 17 to 1. Great stuff.
@bkendlerA4 I understand, but for now on I'm just gunna ignore 'em for now on, let them like or loath. I'm just gunna focus on the positive side of the films.
@MaryPegler Thank you for expressing your admiration and glad to know you had a wonderfull time aswell. 5029 really does show the bark of a GWR 4-cylinder locomotive
@collieultimo very very true and its taken 8 years for a Castle to finally cross the truely magnificent bridge. It may be my last time that I film steam from the bridge having done it 3 times already.
@gingerkin mate I have to say your one of a few who understands the art of mainline steam and I personally want to say thank you for commenting on that. Not many people tend to say it.
@GreatWestern175 this is just out of intrest. when i saw the cornishman before it had a gnome on the front by the lights did this one have them on or not? think i read somewhere that it was tradition
Wonderful stuff Ryan, Whiteball and Combefishacre real standout shots. What a great weekend you have had, two of the best railtours to have been run for many years. Ignore these losers who seem to take a delight in disliking your videos, your videos are appreciated by far more people than these nutters
@acw71000 Indeed its been a very busy and tiring weekend for all concerned and involved. 5029 did put on a real show that day which impressed all of us. I do have another shot of her on the Devon banks but its at a top secret spot so you'l only see it on the dvd :P
Well at least those of us with taste and decency appreciate your hard work and effort to bring us your marvellous films. There isn't enough hours in the day at weekends for me to do the same as you, so I am relying on you to go out there and film these trains!!
@baconsandwich2007 thank you very much I just nows the time to send out a message to those who think different to others of much the meaning of hard work and effort means. I respect many other good cameraman who have travelled alot
@34002salisbury they did yes but I've always wanted to see Edgcumbe do the Devon banks seeing as its thrashed other areas, be nice to see it more down here than up north all the time
@JamesandPeter I know you would'nt I didn't have a problem with it at first and ignored it but when I noticed a considerable amount of dislikes I decided to take action and send out a message to those who do so. And I think I know whos behind it
Fanastic Shots, I have noticed on some other youtubers that they have put dislikes on there videos lucky me i haven't got it yet. So all your hard work gets no appreciation for some people i think they should stop pressing dislike buttons. I am cross about that. Tom
@BristolCastle Thank you Tom, then again they don't know the true art of mainline steam and how much some of us travel long distances to get what we adore
Excellent video with great locations. The last one with the reflection is a belter.

@zelo1954 Ahh I'm just ignore them. They fail to see the artistic look of steam on the mainline

Thanks for putting on this video. Good sound as well as picture, demonstrating the characteristic chuff of the GWR engine. I was on the train.

A great video - I love the Royal Albert Bridge - there is no better way presenting it with "Nunney Castle" hauling the Cornishman over it.
