I actually never got past the the disappearing blocks by memorizing the pattern. It was always too hard for me and I ended up using the item-2 rocket sled to pass it.

Are you able to charge up weapons in the NES version? If so, I can't believe I never knew about it.

@IMZEECATMAN It's the Mega Man Anniversary Collection on the Gamecube. The L&R buttons allow for the weapon cycling.

the real story to how the caricters were created was the they told kids to make up there own caricters and put it in nintendo power then they picked from them

The reason the Megaman 2 Robo-Masters look funny is because Nintendo Power had a Robo-Master design contest.

You've taught me a lesson.I beat Mega Man 2...on an emulator...using save states. :( BUT! To be fair, I got to Dr.Wil'y's first boss on mega man 1 WITHOUT save states!

Although, the way I see it, it s no different from saving before the boss in Zelda, or saving before you catch mewtwo in pokemon.

Um hey...how did u change cannons without hitting pause? i take it ur using an emulator i am too but on my wii. Do you press L or R? cuz that doesnt work lol plz some one tell me how to do it?!

I am using the Mega Man Anniversary Collection. They recoded the game to use the L and R buttons to cycle through weapons. If you bought it on the Wii, then it's just an emulated version of the NES game and has no ability to cycle through weapons without going to the menu.

It was on the Gamecube and the PS2. You'll likely only find it used in stores. Online stores may have some new copies.

personally i love Wood Man's Stage Theme,thus he isnt a bad boss to me...heat man on the other hand...for the part you mentioned,not good unless i have...Item-2 was it?(Jet).
