Kris has been my favorite singer/songwriter since the first time I heard him back about '71 I think. This is still one of my two favorite songs...the other one being "To Beat the Devil" also by Kris. I had the good fortune to meet him about 8 years ago after seeing him in concert at the Capitol Theatre in Davenport, Iowa. He was the biggest reason that I started writing songs. Thanks, Kris...for inspiration, examination, pleasure and.....for being the conscience of my generation....

Very nice live performance of this classic Kristofferson song. It's my all-time favorite of all this tunes, and that's saying something because I've loved pretty much everything he's ever written. Thanks for uploading it.
