  • that baby is so cute

  • now that a baby, her chubby little finger, how adorable :)

  • OMG she is the most cutest and beautifulist baby ever she.

Her little cheeks are the best. awwww your very lucky. <3

  • my daughter has ezcema... and i couldnt use everything on her skin cause shes so sensitive so i tried Head and Shoulder shampoo to wash her body and hair and aveno lotion to moisturize her skin

  • I have a question:

My bfs mom n bf want to do plats on our baby, he's only 9 months (bi-racial) and has really curly hair, she says it's ok to do plats on a baby now, I'm thinking it's going to hurt him cuz he's so young!

So my ? Is he too young?

    Is it gonna hurt him?

  • For eczema oatmilk helps greatly when it seeps into your skin. Also drinking plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated. Vaseline is not recommended as it clogs the pores and leaves the skin greasy. Making sure you have a healthy diet and are getting your Vitamin C greatly improves eczema too. The skin loves to drink natural products. :)

  • NOT A SKIN DISEASE. your not even going to bother looknig at whats going on inside your body, your health or anythnig like that. where in the world can a so-called 'harmless skin disease' like this come from?! uncleanliness? bullshit

this age is a curse. ignorance is NOT always bliss

  • so cute!

  • she's so chubby and adorable

  • you said earlier that you just put vaseline in your hair!! If you plan for it to grow then thats not a good idea.vaseline is a petroleum, and it will clog the pores on the scalp causing the hair not to grow out of it.

  • You're right. But since that isn't her child she has no say in the vasiline thing. But yes... vasline clogging.

  • Lool @ the juicy comments but I see what you mean...

JUst wanna PINCH her cheeks so damn adorable.

  • sooo adorable :)

  • What a cutie pie! Look at those fat juicy jaws.

  • SHE'S SO CUTE

  • She is a cutie, so juicy! Gorgeous hair!

  • she is so precious

  • Oh my gooodddddnneesss.

That baby is too adorable. :3

  • what are some good black hair products that are good to use on on a 2yr old that will also promote hair growth?

  • Use a spray bottle to dampen hair and then use conditioner and some kind of natural oil like coconut or extra virgin olive oil, both found at WalMart. But always use water to damped before doing any kind of styling

  • my sister do the same thing. she put vasaline in her 2 daughters hair when they were really young like few months old.

  • Please don't put vasaline in here hair. It will smother her scalp and will not allow the hair to grow. Please no vasaline.

  • i'll pass that on . thanks for the amazing post! from stepf

  • @familygoingnatural I agree with you on passing on that advice.. My mother always styled my hair wet and greased my hair and scalp with vaseline... and it grew so fast and so healthy people where asking her what the secret was.. when she told them it wasnt vaseline.. they did not believe.. n e who... she is a cutie, hope she is still natural

  • If you have a Walgreens near you they have a Vaseline-like product from Wlagreens label that is made with Shea Butter instead of Petroleum..and it's not the kinda that sits on your hair, it absorbs more readily than str8 shea butter, it's a blend.

  • i used vaseline for my daughters hair when she was a baby- no problem with growth. it was actually a WHOLE lot longer than most her age. I don't see the problem if you wash it. I didn't grease her scalp with it...

  • aww thank you ,

    from stepf

  • I also have eczema and since going natural someone I discovered that veg glycerin works wonders on your hair as well as on eczema. Since most naturals have glycerin in their arsenal you can give it a try. I normally mix 6-8 parts distilled water and one part glycerin and spray that on freshly washed skin. It keeps the skin constantly hydrated

  • thank you for your comment

    ( i will look into this )

    from stepf

  • Aww! Cutie!

    Her hair is gorgeous!

  • Aww Thank You

My mom wouldn't put the baby down ( i had to keep reminding her that she's not ours lol )

  • pure raw shea butter is used to treat eczema. i use it on my scalp, and i have no problems. i make my own mixture would you like the instructions?

  • yes!

    thanks ,,from stepf

  • 1 cup raw shea

    1/2 cup coconut oil

    1/4 vegetable glycerin

1-2 tablespoons of pure honey (It binds moisture)

    (optional but highly recommended)

    1 tablespoon of each

    jojoba w/vitamin E

    grapeseed

    olive oil

mix together with blinder. If you don't have one (like me) you should melt thie hard products then mix. find an empty sealable container, and enjoy

  • I have eczema, and usually it breaks out when the summer comes, but I figured out I have an outbreak when my skin overheats.

My friend (who also has it) and I found out two ways to help it:

Her way: stay out of the sun

My way: wear sunblock and NO MORE vaseline-like products as a moisturizer.

And this summer, I've been holding the rash at bay, and so far, so good.

  • great ! thanks for sharing this

    from stepf

  • Hi, I had a severe case of eczema when i was little (the skin on my arms and legs looked leathery like i was burned). Someone told my mom that salt water from the ocean can help soothe the dry skin. We lived on an island at the time so she started taking me to the beach often. We also used prayer oil (olive oil), cocoa butter, and vaseline to keep my skin moisturized. I'm 20 now and I have no more eczema!

  • wow!

    thats wonderful

    from stepf

  • SHE IS TOO CUTE!! HER HAIR IS SO PRETTY

  • thank you ,Luv2bbeautiful

  • She's cute

  • thank you ,

    happydimples39

  • I have found that shea butter or cocoa butter (pure not that palmers crap) worked wonders for my sons eczema.

Vaseline is the devil for eczema I learned that when he was a baby.

  • Thank you for the suggestion ,I never heard of cocoa butter helping with eczema , do you mix it ?

  • For the cocoa butter, I mix it with a little oil. Usually jojoba, coconut, or olive oil. Those oils seems to help his skin the most. For the shea butter, I mix it with aloe vera gel, coconut or jojoba, and sometimes and essential oil for smell.

  • She is adorable. Make me want one . . .Sike!! We already have a 2year old.

  • lol , that was cute , you almost fogot huh ? lol from stepf

  • SHE IS CUTE!!!! LOVE HER LIL OUTFIT!

  • thank you luv2bebeautiful

  • your welcome your whole family is beautiful! Peace tell lil baby i said hi i love her she was crackin me up wen she was on the video ur daughter was doin her wrap and she was like i am not a lil baybeh i loves ya'll accent i love me some New Orleans!!!

  • dont use rubberbands, or Vaseline!!! She should start RIGHT NOW using essential oils for her scalp, and a good deep conditioner. plat the hair and protect the ends! her hair will be down her back before she's 10

  • Great comment you said everything I wanted to say! Especially about NO VASELINE. Just like the petroleum jelly/mineral oil used in chapstick makes the lips dry and crack after a few hours it does the same to hair...and thats not good.

  • The doctor ordered her to use vaseline , from stepf

  • @luv2trump can you tell me advice on using essential oils for my two year old scalp along with a good deep conditioner. She has dry hair. I do agree that rubber bands are not good for her hair nor vaseline. I did that to her and wish I hadn't it seemed fine in the beginning but it made it worst.

  • aww she is too cute! and juicy!....look at them cheeks!

  • i know , thats how i like my babies :) lol from stepf

  • so when u gonna have a baby so we can see the twist out?

  • lol , i do have a baby .. " lil baby' lol from stepf

  • yeah, i use the lotion(eucerin)calming creme it works great for the eczema but his hair is so dry cause i cant put anything in it, it seems like everything breaks him out or like activate the eczema i guess.

  • i feel the same way from stepf

  • I have eczema too (atopic dermatitis) I use to use Aquaphor, which is pretty much medicated vaseline, but its SO greasy I hated it. I went to another doctor and he said to use Lubriderm Lotion and it has worked great! I also use sensitive skin everything! body wash, laundry detergent, I mean everything!

  • it's kind of going away ........is Lubriderm and Cari or Cary the same thing ? from stepf

  • She is just too cute! Her hair is gorgeous and her big cheek. How old is she?

  • 11 months , thank you

    blessone48021

  • She is soooooo cute. ; )

  • Thank you we ( we taking credit for somebody's baby ) hahah from stepf

  • my son has eczema, like really small case mainly around his mouth. i use this lotion. but i cant put anything in his hair it would break his face out. even vasaline. i was thinking shea butter, for all over even hair. but i want to see what the doctors reaction will be first, before i go hunting for it. they told me to use plain vasaline too. but it makes like fine bumps in his face.

  • Vasaline can cause eczema worsen. My last 2 litle ones have it. Hydrocortizone crean can discolor their skin (happened to baby #3). With this baby the doc gave me this big jar of cream.....worked miracles...I can't remember the name but it was perscription strength not eucerine

  • have you ever tried the baby vaseline ? . from stepf

  • she is a pretty baby

with a head full of hair i can also relate to the eczema cos my son has it..

  • huranaware ,what do you put on it?

  • i heard that becoz of petroleum vaseline isn.t good 4 hair

    shea butter's the best

  • I know blessingsgirl ,the baby have eczema,so that all she can used.A good, cheap moisturizer is plain petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline).thank you so much for your comment.
