  • Wow, now here is a grandma that really CAN play the piano.

  • Was her last name Troy?!!

  • cpp!

  • This is absolutely beautiful. What a wonderful memory to cherish of such a talented lady!

  • She must have been a very skilled player when she was younger. This is still very good.

  • Absoulutely Beautiful God Bless her!

  • How old was she. She was incredible!

  • the last 20 minutes of my life proves there are quite a few videos on youtube of grannies playing piano...

  • Wow she was great. God bless her soul.

  • WOW....My she rest in peace

  • shes was awsome :)

  • Wow, she was an amazing piano player! May she rest in peace, I lost my grandad a few months ago too, I miss him sooo much, I wish I had a video or more photos to remember him by...

  • completly amasing now shes playing with the angels

  • That's so wonderful to see. I've always thought that when I get old I won't be able to enjoy playing my instrument. This video gave me hope for the future. How amazing that your grandma would sit down at her piano and touch my heart, a stranger on the other side of the planet, with her music. There is amazing beauty in life, even in the smallest of things. A smile or a melody on a piano. We tend to chase happiness outside of ourselfs and do not notice and fully enjoy the small moments in life.

  • Sounds amazing! She had great creative talent. Thanks for sharing.

  • Lives end, bodies die, but music...Music prevails, and never ends. That's why a pianist, like her, will never die; will always still alive in Music.

I'm not christian, and I'm sceptical, but this is just true.

    Greetings and best wishes.

  • Thanks for all the great comments. Grandma Pat passed away several months ago. I will always remember the day I took this video as the last time playing her Steinway.

  • Wow. She's incredible. Chopin is SO difficult to play... I'm sorry she passed away, but I bet you she found a Steinway in heaven and is still playing away... How beautiful you caught this moment. A treasure!

  • Wow, the Minute Waltz by Chopin , so beautifully played at her age. God bless her.

  • I hope the Home she's living in, will have a piano for her to practise on, thanks for sharing such fine skill.

  • This is one of the most beautiful clips I have ever seen. Thank you so much for sharing Grandma's very fine performance and hope that this will inspire all of us. Very best wishes!

  • This is a must and a very nice héritage to keep in our memories .The king of they instrument played by a queen. You grandma made a guy happy to play piano and want to work harder to reach the half of her talent. Thank's to you for sharing and thank's grand ma.

  • Grandma moved out of her house shortly after Grandpa passed away because she needed assisted living. She has dementia/alzheimers and can't even play any more. We sure will miss those Christmas parties where Grandma, Clare, Mary and Jory all played the piano.

  • I'm sorry to read that - We had piano players in our family, too - all gone now.

Take Care, don't forget the good times.

  • Nice job Pat!
