@MrRatchet1995 i'll explain then. certain forms,such as Grims and Leapers,were deemed unnecessary for further military usage by the Chimeran leaders,so they broke the link between them and the Chimeran military. afterwards,they developed sexual genders,began breeding,and become hostile to any life-form that wasn't Feral Chimera,including Military Chimera. hope that helps!

I like how Resistance 2 started off exploding and how this one starts off slow. I hated Resistance 2 though. I'm glad this one has at least a few slow moments. I usually like fast paced things, but Resistance 2 felt like a bombardment.
