I love geocaching, my family wont get into it, they think im nuts for getting into it. its an addiction. Our caches arent really on the ground either, there more in gard rails or tied to something.
Great sport, just got done filming mini-documentary with Caroline Tucker news anchor with channel 7 in Watertown, N.Y. nice to get the word out about the hobby/sport. Belair56.
I like the wordings that this reporter uses - Hide and Seek, rather than treasure hunt
The only things I didn't like is the assumption that most caches are on the ground - We tend to hide them a little higher up for the sake of making them 'Winter Friendly' and the assumption that most are in Ammo Cans - This is true for rural caches, but not urban, and in all fairness to her, she did kind of explain herself afterwards, but not fully
This is probably the best story I've seen on caching yet
I am a japan cacher and can i tell you I agree we hardly put our caches on the ground! Our favorite is magnets and our best friend super gluE!!! haha Happy caching. CITO
Found today, nice cache! Was able to get the entire three stages without getting my feet wet, except for one foot! Found the first stage on the ground, and I think its been visited by a bear. Log a little wet, and baggie torn, but otherwise in fine shape!
Found this one today! Great hike and only got wet on one of my boots! Found the second stage on the ground, and replaced it back to where I thought it should be. Final had some water in it and the log was damp! Dried off as best as I could, and TFTC SL TNLN.
Woohoo - I was lucky enough to grab a few caches in Alaska this summer, when I was on a cruise. Very cool indeed - thanks for posting this. -lovesreward

These newspeople actually seemed interested in geocaching. Congrads to mentioning cito and the environmentally respectful awareness of cachers.

This is the best story I have come across so far regarding geocaching. Thanks for posting it! I added it to my favorites.
I think that if you are a geocacher, you are cool. Some people say it is a sport for nerds. Well, nerd or not I love it!
Cache on!!!
