     Great looking bike & additions!!

    Thanks

Ciao! Check out video #4. I have a complete video on all details on both seats. It will help answer ALL your questions on seats : )

  • @aguiareboys

El video #4 te explica todo : )

  • Hey Nick ...Nice Bike, I have an Silver 2005. Curious to know where you bought the Muffler system.

  • @hludwit Nice : ) I got mine from my friend Knut who owns Remus USA located in Emeryville CA. They cars and motorbike systems for BMW and Porsche. Makes a huge difference and very worth the money.

  • HI Nick, can you post his link, or info. I would like to get those aftermarket pipes on mine.

  • Will send you a message. Youtube wont let me post the link as a comment.

  • Can you let me know the name of tool canister that you've fitted and where you got it from. It's a neat solution. Thanks

  • @ginkotree08

I bought it from GP-motos.com.uk but the site doesnt work anymore. Ive seen some other sites though. Let me know if you need help looking and ill look through some bookmarks I have. Cheers! : )

  • this guy sounds like professor frink lol , all thats missing is the " mm hey " from the end of each sentence .

  • @poortuber

Holy cow I do sound like him lmao!!! XD I should I go do some prank calls now : D "mm hey" Lol!

  • @nicktacular06 , nice and refreshing to see that someone in this world has a sense of humour rather than automatically taking it the wrong way , you have an awesome bike my friend , i too hope to own one of these one day . My gsxr600 wasn't good for long distance ( or my back ) !!

  • @poortuber Me too! Even if I compliment someones vid they think im "talking shit" somehow!? Yeah, I came from street bike scene as well. Had Suzuki SV650s then Yamaha R1 and started using it daily to commute to work and after a few years got tired of having a stiff back when getting off lol. I knew nothing about BMW or GS's until I rode I friends dads bike and loved it =D Sold R1 then got GS! So far its the most comfortable bike Ive owned that lets you do enough speed on road but go camping too.

  • great motorcycle, non-ducati favorite bike : )

  • @DesmosediciAlice

Thank you : ) Im a huge fan of Ducati aswell! Check out vid # 13 to see the bike recently. This vid is over 2yrs old and the bike is alot different now.

  • very nice GS

  • Why do you have a German license plate under the US plate?

  • @themanitasdeplomo

I did European delivery and stayed in Europe for 2 months. Currently back in Europe and in Italy now : )

  • good show chap....make your own show....you are most informative...more power

  • @SuperButch888

    thank you : )

im in process of making a few more for some people.

  • Good day ! I'm looking for a complete tool set, stock just doesn't cut it . Will yours be able to change wheels as well as most issues you might incounter while on the road ? Where did you but the tool kit from as well as the case ? Thank you, Robert

  • Very cool bike! Did you say you got that cylindrical tool box from touratech? I like your fluid guards too!

  • @o2much4me

I got the tool tube from another website. Its a guy in U.K. who hand makes for pretty cheap compared to the the plastic ones. If you want his site Ill dig it up for you.

  • @nicktacular06 Nice bike I am interested in getting the cilindrical tool box .. Could you send me the web page of the place were you got it?

    Thanks

    Jorge

  • Trying to decide between Akrapovic & Remus-

  • @o2much4me

Was hard for me too.... I noticed that Remus is a few DB's quieter but still has great rumble. Depends on the system you want, headers, loud muffler, silencer etc... It took a few bike meets to to listen to both brands live.

  • nice german number plate :)

  • @AwesomeClipper

Check out vid 6. I made a vid about my experience off roading with it.

  • @jcfcarranza

Im not too sure. I know that BMW bikes hold their value more than most bikes, specially the boxer because it will last for many years. I talked to my friend at BMW dealership and he said he suggests I sell it for around 20-23k US funds due to the thousands in upgrades anlong with 7 yr warranty and Lojack mine has. My bike has pretty much everything you would want for it. Only thing next I am doing is suspension.I guess Id take no less than 20K US. But I think I wont ever sell it!

  • Dude, that's a battle bike! :)

  • @krizla4

Thanks! I treat it like one too : )

  • Hey Nick...where did you get your (1)cylindrical tool box tube you've underslung on the right handside and

    (2) your valve protector crash bars

    Nice work

    Cheers

  • sounds like a chopper.

  • @dfawfzx

    Wish I had a chopper!

  • I see touratech but then i think i see Wunderlich. Do you rock a mix?

  • @drew19860

Its more Touratech when this vid was made. Check the latest vid 12/12. I have items from 7 company's.

  • HILARIOUS exhaust system dude. Buy the BMW engine then disable it. To what purpose? Just wanted to add to the smog I guess. And ha.. the carbon fiber anything!..

I am thinking about that fenda extenda though.

  • @buzzkillor

You obviously have limited male brain cells on mechanics.... Its REMUS.....Made by BMW for BMW you twit. Im sure whatever vehicle youre driving still produces 300x's what a motorbike does. Even Hybrids do : / Nobody understands your "carbon fiber anything!" What are you referring to? The Fenda extenda is awesome though. Get that first if anything.....I mean, it only works in the rain if youre all weather rider like myself.

  • can you run this on regular unleaded?

  • @humanentropy

Yes.... Just lose's power. Thats the good thing about BMW's GS, with the O'2 and knock censors you can run really poor fuel and the computer will adapt. Used some pretty bad petrol when I was in Central America!

  • how many miles off road can you do on a full tank?

  • @giley124

Depends on many factors. Hills, sand, mud, cold, heat? Etc.... If Im doing a quick off road for the day then I usually only fill up half way and still get 150-185 miles on half tank. Again, depends on your riding level and much throttle you use. If I do a weekend travel and fill up full tank I still get 300-350! For the size of the GS and motor it actually gets good distance : )

  • Thank for your advice (he got one):)

  • @WackyTurtle5580

Sweet! Ill help him out with links and reviews on parts etc...

  • Do you recomend the gs adventure? My dad was thinking about buying one.

  • @WackyTurtle5580

Depends on his needs. Does he do alot of traveling? Camping? Commuting? I use mine year around for commuting to work and school just to save on fuel and I love riding ; ) The 8.7 gal tank is great because I only need to fill up like once every 2 weeks! Tha adventure comes with a few more options as well. Different suspension, luggage rack etc.. If he only rides once a month on a weekend and doesnt travel far away then he should save his money and get something else for half!

  • Nice bike man!

  • @WackyTurtle5580

Im remaking this video in HD 1080p since its come along way now : ) Keep ya posted mate!

  • Hi David! Yes, you will gain ALOT more power but your fuel consumption will drop very noticeably . I did 3 different maps for about a 2 weeks and the stock setting gives you a little more power and better fuel economy. Depends on how you ride. I ride mine daily so I want to save fuel. If you dont care about the fuel then go with the full map and feel the power!!! The power commander is well worth the money no matter which map you use. Let me know how it goes : )

  • @nicktacular06 Hi Nick, I have just installed the power commander with the map M949-505, I have notice and increase of power and a huge drop of consumption about 3 liters. I installed with my friend Bune who owns a BMW dealer shop "BMW SCRATCH" in Barcelona and has a long experience in racing. Bune, was very impreseded by the increase of power and the way the bike it works. At this stage I would like to play with the maps to feel the difference. Which map u get the max power. Gracias

  • Congratulatios! Great video and explanation good job!

I have a a question! I have just changed the full line exhaust and put an Akrapovic together with better filter KN. I am about to buy the power comander maped for the full exhaust and filter. Do you think is it worthy it? Will I get more power horses? I have heard you can get up to 15 extra power horses?

what´s you experience and opinion? David from Barcelona

  • Coolest bike on Youtube.

  • @tobigforyou

Thank you : ) Its come along way since this video.

  • @tobigforyou couldn't agree more

  • Thank you. I see some ideas for my Adventure..

  • @Shartmiester

Cool cool! Check out the latest vid. Its come along way : )

  • could u tell me pls where did u get the BMW R1200 GSA Adventure Engine Guard Extensions

  • @ Nicktacular06

Could you do a video on your cruise control please

  • @Thelemongrabber

No problem. Its still snowing where im at but should clear up in few days and ill gladly make it for you. Dont be afraid to remind me later down the road!

  • hi,i m from italy,i want to know if it possible, where and address of your after market tubolar safe cilinder.very nice...thanks.bob.

  • @emomisul

Ciao...I am looking for the same tubular tool box....did you find out where he got it from?

    Thanks

  • Where did you get the tool holder tube you have behind the right pannier?

  • Great Bike. Jealous!

  • @stephencomma

Thanks! Its come a very long way. Still more to go!!

  • Sweet Bike! This might have come up already, but do you have German plates on there (underneath the US one)?

  • @TheRoepieroepie

I picked it up through BMW motorrad delivery. Its a program some dealers do where you save 12% on the price because you go to Stuggart Germany (DE) and import it yourself. Basically you get 12% off the price but you have to pay for your own plane ticket and food etc....Free vacation like.

  • very nice bike bro

  • Where did you get the carbon fiber BMW emblems

  • Very nice adventure. Where did you get the carbon fiber BMW emblems?

  • Nice bike you´ve got!

  • @wdw353

Thank you. Im still adding more : D

  • nice dude

  • @dracosp

    Gracias!

  • @Yohannes4174

Thank you. Its come a long since this video!

  • Where did you get the crash bar additions?

  • Fantastic bike with a lot of great upgrades! What (if any) performance increases have you notices with the new exhaust? Can you actually feel the difference?

I have a stock '09 GS and I'm looking for the best possible upgrades.

  • @JVincent7

YES!!! Not only did I feel alot more low end torque but also eliminating the stock pipe and cat shaved off around 14 lbs. Throttle response has improved as well. Cruising on freeway I also noticed the RPM's are .600 lower= more power for red line. If anything you should definitely get full exhaust and feel the difference! If youd like more info I can make you a vid, email me what youd like in the vid etc... Hope you start upgrading your GS!!!

  • put some oil man :) oil is missing

  • @gentleman279

    Wasnt warmed up.

  • Nice setup!

  • iv posted on the video thanks bud...

  • You did a great job of making all of this look "stock". Kept the clean lines and added some really nice features. Great job!

  • @gaurdiananubis

Sure! Im going on a trip to Cozumel tomorrow and wont return till the 26th. Ill make you a vid and should have it up like 27-28th because I like to edit them and make sure there quality vids. Yea dont start them yet because it was a pain in the ass believe it not but it was well worth the hassle than spending 1000$ USD from websites that sell "kits". See you soon!

  • @gaurdiananubis

I made a video for you today. Let me know if its ok or if you need more info!

  • @Johnija @Johnija

Thank you! The low seat is aftermarket. Was about 480$ USD. Im only 5ft 5" (1.65 meters) tall and the seat lets you ride the GSA much easier. Talk to you later!!!

  • @nicktacular06 What is height of seat now in cm??

    I ma 175 cm tall,not so tall :)

  • @Johnija

Standard BMW height is 53 cm. The low seat is 48 cm. It doesnt sound like much difference but I cant ride with the BMW seat. Im only 162 cm!!! Shorter than you : D

Ill make a video for you in the next day or to and show you the difference kay : )

  • Да слов нет.

Простому Украинскому инженеру нужно всю жизнь работать на такой мотор, и то в лучшем случае б/у.

  • Finally had time to look through all your stuff. Like the add-ons - this weekend I'm going to install some Touratech parts on mine. It's finally going to warm up here in the East coast! Love the sound of the exhaust!

  • Thanks! I love bikes more than cars. I live in California so im able to commute year around rain or shine! So far all the items I've added I actually use. Worth the investment no matter what you add to your bike!

  • @Sunfire12R

Thanks! I love bikes more than cars. I live in California so im able to commute year around rain or shine! So far all the items I've added I actually use. Worth the investment no matter what you add to your bike!

  • really like what you did. Was wondering about the header guards where did you get those?, also what's with the dutch plates?

  • @dlanz197

My friend is trying to start a parts business for off road parts and is still in process of making parts. Im the second person to have the header crash bars there gonna retail for around 200U.S.$? Ill email you the website once its done.

Bought the bike in Stuttgart DE.(Germany) and just never took the plate off.

  • the most add-on's GSA i ever saw... nice!!!

  • @princess4633

Yea, I love my bike more than anything!

  • cool video and a nice bike

  • It's nice to see somebody post a video about a bike and show the bike and what thay've done to it so other bikers might find useful unlike the ones who put a camera on helmet and just show the bloody road !!! Thank you for sharing and look forward to more the same.

  • Thanks!

I agree because I bought the bike about 6 months ago and couldnt really find videos like this to help me with parts. Check back in a week because im gona describe how the cases work and more detail video of the exhaust etc...
