@edadan2009 The "nasty language" was never shown to the public. You chose to watch a blooper reel, OUTTAKES from the original show. They were taken out for a reason. Did you think they were angels behind the scenes? These people were wonderful, extremely talented comedy players and actors (still are) and it surprises me that you would think that just because they used a little off color language BEHIND THE SCENES that their talent is suddenly null and void. Sad.

My favourite out this collection of bloopers from The Carol Burnett Show was the Doesn't Taste Fishy sketch's out takes. Like a viewer said, it was outrageously funny seeing Carol Burnett, Tim Conway, Vicky Lawrence and Harvey Korman lose their composure and burst into laughter on live television. Great to see classic comedy television alive and well on You Tube.

This was television at its best. Nothing can compare to it now, nor will we ever see the likes of it again, unfortunately. I'm so glad I grew up in a era where I can now fondly remember this and many other great shows. Carol, Lucy, Sonny & Cher, Donny & Marie...Great memories. If I could meet them today (yes, I know some have passed on,) I would thank them wholeheartedly.

Sorry to say, but Carol Burnett is really a bit of a bitch. I didn't think that until she tried to sue the producers of Family Guy for copyright infridgement.  It was a joke in a modern comedy, and she should have appriciated the reference to her 30 year old show.

It's great to see all the stuff they wouldn't let on TV. I had no idea they cussed so much, but it's hilarious when they did. Even the director got in on it. My favorite episodes were the ones that totally fell apart. I could have never been a camera man on a show like that. :-)

huntergail...go away. I'm sorry you don't like the language, but these clips never aired. I wish more shows like this would still be put on TV. Most sketch shows now are just plain vulgar and sexual and not fit for family viewing. This was back when my whole family could sit around and howl with laughter and even the slightly cheeky bits were so vague they went clear over my head. we had some of the best family together time watching the Carol Burnett Show. What is on NOW that you approve of?
