  • not to bash you guys but do you normally take a tiller on a medical call?

  • @quadkid4 NO THAT IS JUST A PICTURE FOR THE VIDEO

  • @josh1948 (&RJBFirechief) - They usually don't. This call was to E-23 out by the airport anyway and this ladder is downtown. There are two engines at this station, and ladders don't get dispatched unless the engines in their territories are busy. With regard to working fires this is the busiest ladder in the city.

  • why do these big trucks respond to medical calls?

  • goodjob guys

  • hey where can i get that pic

  • Another waste of expensive Fire Equipment chasing Medical Runs to justify their exsistance!!

Might as well just by Ambulances and forget Fire Apparattus! Better yet, close down and turn it over to Private Ambulance Services.

  • @RJBFIRECHIEF1 Welcome to the 21st century of fire services. As a man with bugles on your uniform, I thought you would be more open to keeping fire departments strong, then whining about EMS calls at another department that you don't even serve on. Shame on you Sir!

  • @glumspore

I see the truth hurts huh?

Better look at mergers, FD closures and firefighter layoffs.

EMS is the last thread that FD's can hang on to.

I manage, and I look at numbers, and they tell no lie!
