No people are not out of touch if they don't have twitter. The only reason I use that shit is to follow news sites like CNN and the NY Times.....and it makes it easier to scroll through "top stories". Other than that I don't use twitter at all.
I think as long as you still have a phone, then you'll never be "out of touch".

It is only good for 1 thing, & that is to see celebrities act a fool!
Without Twitter, we wouldn't have had that letter to A.Keys by Mashonda, beefs with Fab & 50/ Souljah Boy etc.
As to the question of whether people are out of touch or not, I would say that blogs keep up with Twitter shenanigans, so whereas you wouldnt see the action live, you can read about it within a few hours of it happening!

Yeah people are out of touch for the simple fact that alot of artist are telling ther followers what their doing music wise, some leak songs off their mixtapes or just drop lnks to their mixtapes its easy to contact them to book gigs etc. But outside of music you can get in touch easy with charitys(sorry f spelt wrong) with no problem. In short twitter is just an easy way to get in touch with people instead of having to hunt down contact info/the person..idk what else I'm finna say lol
