Theft is the very foundation of Israel. Unfortunately, Harry Truman and Joseph Stalin gave approval to an illegal occupation, and the negative effects are still felt by all of us today. Jewish settlers basically just started moving in over the last hundred years, set up camp, started pushing arabs out, and then eventually started slaughtering them while claiming some god-given right to the land based on a 'holy' book
"Mideast Peace Envoy George Mitchell said in 2003, "Opposition to the government of Israel's policies and practices regarding settlements…has been consistent through the Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Bush administrations; just as consistent has been the continued settlement activity by the Israeli government.""
The policy of all Israeli governments since 1967 of settling Israeli citizens in the territories Israel occupied in the 1967 war is regarded by most governments as a violation of international law defined by the “Fourth Geneva Convention Relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War.”
As early as the first settlement was built it was recognized as an impediment to peace, as well as totally illegal and in contravention of the 4th Geneva convention. The policy of all Israeli governments since 1967 of settling Israeli citizens in the territories Israel occupied in the 1967 war is regarded by most governments as a violation of international law defined by the “Fourth Geneva Convention Relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War.”
In an apparent departure from this destructive path, in the summer of 2007, PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad embarked on the first true state-building effort in Palestinian history. And he has had some modest successes, most notably a sustained economic recovery that has nearly restored the West Bank’s pre-intifada levels of performance. Yet Fayyad has created no new institutions, and the PA remains a corrupt and dysfunctional organization. To give statehood to such people would be a disaster.
All of these achievements were steadily undone after Oslo, as Arafat’s regime took control over parts of the territories. In September of 1993, conditions in the West Bank and Gaza were still better than those in most neighboring Arab states, despite the economic decline caused by the first intifada. Within six months of Arafat’s arrival in Gaza, the standard of living in the strip fell by 25 percent, and more than half of the area’s residents claimed to have been happier under Israeli rule.
During the occupation, the territories became the fourth fastest-growing economy in the world—ahead of Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, and substantially ahead of Israel itself. From 1967 to 2000, life expectancy rose from 48 to 72, while infant mortality fell from 60 per 1,000 live births in 1968 to 15 in 2000. And while there was not a single university that existed in the West Bank or Gaza before Israeli rule, by the mid-1990s, there were 7 such institutions, boasting more than 16,000 students.
Paradoxically, it was Israel’s occupation of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip during the June 1967 war that laid the groundwork for Palestinian civil society. Not only did it bring the issue of Palestinian independence to the forefront of the international agenda, but it also produced dramatic improvements in the Palestinians’ quality of life.
Once Arafat gained control of parts of the West Bank and Gaza, his prognosis became a self-fulfilling prophecy, as his regime quickly became oppressive and corrupt. Later it helped launch the second intifada, the bloodiest and most destructive confrontation between Israelis and Palestinians since the 1948 war. In the process, he destroyed the fragile civil society and relatively productive economy that had developed during the previous decade.
The tragedy of the Palestinians was that the two leaders who determined their national development during the 20th century—Hajj Amin Husseini and his nephew, Yasser Arafat - were far more interested in destroying the Jewish national cause than leading their own people. As far back as 1978, Arafat told his close friend and collaborator, Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu, that the Palestinians lacked the traditions, unity, and discipline to have a successful state.
There is no ancient Palestinian history. There are no world renowned Palestinian artists, scientists, not one Palestinian literary masterpiece, no recognizable culture, no inventions... nothing that distinguishes Palestinians as a people. They are neither a unique people, nor a separate people with their own history. The Palestinians do not deserve a nation because they are not a nation.
The Palestinians and their political leadership bring war and instability to wherever they reside, be it Jordan, Lebanon or in the very territories Israel recently handed over to them. No one wants them as neighbors because they are too egotistical, hotheaded, selfish and immature to qualify as a responsible nation.
I think it's a mistake to focus in too heavily on the word Arab, since the problem isn't Arabs and using the word Arab like that makes you look racist. The problem is the narrative that many Arabs subscribe to, any computer can be corrupted with viruses and malware, and the same can be said for the human brain. The malware that infects many of the Arabs in the region can infect anyone anywhere in the world under the right conditions.
Atheist Arabs make good neighbors, IMO, having known a few.
People who say that others are not listening, they will be when AMERICA becomes a Muslim run Country, and there the ones who think it woint happen, WAKE UP LOOK AT SOME OF OUR CITIES> and listen to the american confersations, do not say anything bad about Muslims or islam. But they can threaten to kill us if we do not convert to there belief. Muhommad is soimerwhere in the desert buried JESUS is in heaven and about to set things right. WHO SIDE YOU ON?
@eagleyeize Hah, America a Muslim Run country, if that happens it will be because our corporate masters are Muslim, don't think for a moment that Islam finds a very welcoming home here or that the situation will become any more welcoming as the midwest dries up and people move eastward putting a strain on resources and increasing tensions between communities. We'll be lucky if we don't end up with a holocaust here before long from the look of some of those FEMA camps.
Judea and Samaria are Israeli territory end of story. Anyone with half a brain who reads not just Jewish historical chronicles but Persian Greek and Roman knows the Israeli state were not coastal like Phonecia, they were inland on the Judean hills. Asking Israel to give away Hebron is like asking America to give away Monticello. Israel must control the land for tactical security advantage like in the Golan Heights. Israel is here to stay and so are the settlements, get used to it.
I am tempted to say, "There must be a solution to this," but suggesting any are both ugly and dangerous, and brings in the issues of tolerance vs. hatred, and which wins...on both sides. I think the best that could be done is for those who believe in just government to remove support for entities that do not exhibit characteristics of the same, and let the chips fall where they may. In other words, pick sides, but be willing to support just elements where they exist.
I understand your argument. A reason the West has suggested a 2-state solution is the practical sense that these rebels can't be nationless forever. Israel, Egypt, and Jordan do not want them. That goal may be impossible, given the long-standing culture of these rebels. They cannot see themselves side by side with Jews. The cultural attachments to specific plots of land are so strong, regardless of what people call themselves.
--> continued #3: If Israel disagree to evacuate the place, it will look like a stuborn entity that is against peace... So, in propaganda terms, Arabs win the battle, no matter what Israel does... One more thing the Arabs try to ahieve, and this is one more reason Not to agree to a Palestinian state, is the deligitimation and showing Israel as the bad guy, what ever it does. Why? Zionism is the movement who stopped the longest occupation even. Arabs are still occupying Jewish land (both on west bank and east-bank that was stolen from the Jews at the 1920th). Jews from Europe bought land all over the western side of Jordan, and also in places that today are in Lebanon and Syria and trans-Jordan, but later they were murdered by the Nazis, and Britain brought in the Arabs from Horan and Egypt, so this is how the land WAS STOLEN FROM THE JEWS!
ChrisWilsonTopTopics. Your video would be more effective if it went through much more quickly, and if it had better grammar and spelling. The music is also a bit much. You're right about one thing; it is worth making YouTube vids, they do influence people.
Just what do you propose as a solution? The complete ethnic cleansing of the West Bank? You do realise that every time Jews settle in ''Judea/Sumaria'' the Arabs have to be turfed off the land for the safety of the settlers? That the settlers attack orchards, etc, and the arabs receive no protection from the Israeli law enforcement bodies? That when they're removed the Arabs receive no compensation?
@CBfrmcardiff That is not correct at all. You dont know the places and you are fed with wrong info, even if you dont realize this. However: One thing that I know for sure is WHAT IS NOT THE SOLUTION. Almost all americans believe the propaganda against israel, the ignorance and stupidity is astounding. Every time israel tries to defend itself against the hamas, they will be reamed for it, and are at risk of being attacked by allied nations simply for doing the right thing, the world is in a sad state right now
@JusticeVSpropaganda your asking us to listen to fox news? that is the worst advice ever. I litterally think Glenn Beck is mentally retarded in the head. The theories and lies he tells are just so stupid and not thought out well at all.
Fox news is so racist, lies all the time, and don't actually have REAL news, just opinions from right wing, republicans...
@CBfrmcardiff Yes, relocate the Muslim squatters in Judea and Samaria. There are 22 Arab countries, Israel only occupies .6% of the entire mid east. India forced Muslims to Pakistan and Pakistan forced Hindus to India, the same occurred between Turkey and Greece. Nobody likes having to leave their home, but its the only solution I can see. I'd offer them financial compensation, but if they refuse to leave force out every last one at gunpoint. Arabs exiled one million Jews, lets finish this.
Unfortunately this video will only preach to the converted. I think the idea that modern day Jordan was ''stolen'' from the Jews is ridiculous. I think the idea that partition of the Holy land was theft from the Jewish people is also ridiculous. I think the emmigration to the Palestine Mandate of Arabs is irrelevant (plenty of ancestral inhabitants were also dispossessed by Israel,) and the references to ''Judea'' and ''Samaria'' are bizarre.
Very good analysis. I totally agree with you that the mountain on West Bank could turn into a good place for terrorists use to attack Israel. And I agree with all the rest. Thank you for making this video!
sorry but u are doing those videos for nothing! people will close their ears and yell "bla bla bla freedom fighters im right your wrong israel is bad palestine R hippies bla bla bla."
get it? people R BLIND, they are living in some fucked up movie, that's our nature. they dont see the REAL world, the REAL situation, they are ignorant, just like religious people.
@PTFtraceur Still, if I influence on one or two persons from time to time, it is better than nothing. And if those two talk with their friends and family, the wave of alternative ideas and information is growing larger. For instance: If you favorite this vid, and share wuth your YouTube friends, and with your facebook friends, or groups (and that is very easy to do in less than 3 minutes), and ask them to do the same, - perhaps it is a small progress, but still larger than zero.
@thecoolestcatchiva Hi ! Why this video disturb you? Do you have just one logical reason to hate this video ? ( or you hate him just because......... without reason ) Gi mate lucky you !
@hazak23 It is disturbing to the fact that it is all just trying to decieve you, and also missing half the facts. Interesting how bad an interpretation of something can get.
Also, why do you comment like your half retarded LOL? You have no logic so PLEASE just don't reply I don't wanna hear it. Especially if you don't have the brains to put one fucking constructive sentence together.
SERIOUSLY DON'T REPLY, because I WON'T respond, to somebody so utterly retarded as you.
@thecoolestcatchiva Hilarious ! ( I have respect for you and for your comments , coz you are free to express all your feelings ) but WHY? you insult me without reason? my comment was decent ( Do you become more brave or smart ? if you insult me ) no way mate you just show your real face like a hypocrite one ) in fact you are not able to have a decent & logical debate with me ( So mate I feel sorry and pity for even you don t deserve ) btw drive out your camel & be happy coz here I am .
By the way your English sucks, and your setences are all fragmented. You also put everything in () which makes no sense, since there was no need, especiall if you do it fo every other sentence...
Haha racism is bad my friend, do not do it. I insulted you with a reason and the fact that you couldn't understand, just proves my point. LOL
@thecoolestcatchiva Of course my English sucks and all my sentences are fragmented , also I put everything in ( ) which make no sense for a clever one like you. O silly me ! My friend again you are Hilarious ! you insulted me with a reason ? What reason ? I suppose for you is normal to insult someone how replay to your comment with respect for you. Are you arab my friend ? btw drive again your camel out of city limits & be happy coz here I am , Lucky me !
@hazak23 You try talking sarcastically to me first acting as if I have a problem. Then you assume I'm a racist or something in that context in your first post. Then you ignore everything I have to say, and say racist remarks.
Yes, I am Arab. And what? What does it matter? Does ethnicity or religion or anything of that idea REALLY MATTER? You obviously have a lot of growing up to do, so I'll leave you alone.
@thecoolestcatchiva I talk normal with you, I not assume nothing , I don t ignore your comments , I don t say racist remarks about you . Of course the ethnicity or religion don t REALLY MATTER and if you are arab lucky you . Obviously you have a obsession with Israel and for this reason you are here to leave your comments , in fact you are not a open mind and you are not able to have a decent debate about this topic , So one more time Drive your arab camel out of city limits coz here I am .
@hazak23 Do you have some problems? Of course in your first post you test my logic. Then you started going sarcastically as if I have no reason to hate the video. Then you start saying "Go ride your camel out of city limits" if thats not racist I don't know what is. I do have an obessesion with Israel, but I don't like Israel, I am obsessed because the Zionists have done terrible things and stolen my home. Your the one who started arguging with me buddy. So please no more.
Not to worry about the idiot "thecoolestcatchiva" mocking your English grammar. I read some of this turd's comments and let me tell you, this moron doesn't have perfect grammar or spelling either. At least you can convey your thoughts in a language that is not your first.
I'm waiting for "thecoolestcatchiva" to mock my English too. After all, my family has only lived in Canada since 1800. I'm sure my English is bad ;)
I always find it ironic when cunts like YOU mock others that write in English and make a few grammatical or spelling errors (when their first language is not English). At least hazak23 CAN communicate in another language other than his/her native tongue.
PS
Du drayt sich arum vie a fortz in russel mit ayer shprakh. Esn kak, shtarbn, un gei in drerd arein :)
Go look that up.
PPS What exactly did hazak23 write that was racist? I did not read anything that indicates that.
Israel is all that stand in the way of total Islamic, worldwide caliphate. If the 'state' of "Palestine" is formed, there will be a new war inthe Middle east against Israel within days.

@CBfrmcardiff Perhaps all these are ridiculous, but they are historical facts.

Very good analysis. I totally agree with you that the mountain on West Bank could turn into a good place for terrorists use to attack Israel. And I agree with all the rest. Thank you for making this video!

PTFtraceur 10 months ago
@PTFtraceur Still, if I influence on one or two persons from time to time, it is better than nothing. And if those two talk with their friends and family, the wave of alternative ideas and information is growing larger. For instance: If you favorite this vid, and share wuth your YouTube friends, and with your facebook friends, or groups (and that is very easy to do in less than 3 minutes), and ask them to do the same, - perhaps it is a small progress, but still larger than zero.
All the best

@thecoolestcatchiva Hi ! Why this video disturb you? Do you have just one logical reason to hate this video ? ( or you hate him just because......... without reason ) Gi mate lucky you !
hazak23 10 months ago
@hazak23 It is disturbing to the fact that it is all just trying to decieve you, and also missing half the facts. Interesting how bad an interpretation of something can get.
Also, why do you comment like your half retarded LOL? You have no logic so PLEASE just don't reply I don't wanna hear it. Especially if you don't have the brains to put one fucking constructive sentence together.
SERIOUSLY DON'T REPLY, because I WON'T respond, to somebody so utterly retarded as you.
thecoolestcatchiva 10 months ago
@thecoolestcatchiva Hilarious ! ( I have respect for you and for your comments , coz you are free to express all your feelings ) but WHY? you insult me without reason? my comment was decent ( Do you become more brave or smart ? if you insult me ) no way mate you just show your real face like a hypocrite one ) in fact you are not able to have a decent & logical debate with me ( So mate I feel sorry and pity for even you don t deserve ) btw drive out your camel & be happy coz here I am .
hazak23 10 months ago
@hazak23 Alright you want to debate, then debate.
LOL
thecoolestcatchiva 10 months ago
@thecoolestcatchiva Of course my English sucks and all my sentences are fragmented , also I put everything in ( ) which make no sense for a clever one like you. O silly me ! My friend again you are Hilarious ! you insulted me with a reason ? What reason ? I suppose for you is normal to insult someone how replay to your comment with respect for you. Are you arab my friend ? btw drive again your camel out of city limits & be happy coz here I am , Lucky me !
hazak23 10 months ago
@hazak23 You try talking sarcastically to me first acting as if I have a problem. Then you assume I'm a racist or something in that context in your first post. Then you ignore everything I have to say, and say racist remarks.
Yes, I am Arab. And what? What does it matter? Does ethnicity or religion or anything of that idea REALLY MATTER? You obviously have a lot of growing up to do, so I'll leave you alone.
thecoolestcatchiva 10 months ago
@thecoolestcatchiva I talk normal with you, I not assume nothing , I don t ignore your comments , I don t say racist remarks about you . Of course the ethnicity or religion don t REALLY MATTER and if you are arab lucky you . Obviously you have a obsession with Israel and for this reason you are here to leave your comments , in fact you are not a open mind and you are not able to have a decent debate about this topic , So one more time Drive your arab camel out of city limits coz here I am .
hazak23 10 months ago
@hazak23 Do you have some problems? Of course in your first post you test my logic. Then you started going sarcastically as if I have no reason to hate the video. Then you start saying "Go ride your camel out of city limits" if thats not racist I don't know what is. I do have an obessesion with Israel, but I don't like Israel, I am obsessed because the Zionists have done terrible things and stolen my home. Your the one who started arguging with me buddy. So please no more.

@thecoolestcatchiva
Lagolop 10 months ago
@thecoolestcatchiva
