Omg i have just red the messages and people want ''variety'' ?..It is just like a kid asking for a XBox360 in a poor family without knowing how hard it really is to accomplish...It is hard to give the players something new all the time.. It has plenty of points which makes it a different game from others and that is enough.

This game offers plenty to offer, it has a great relic system which keeps the pvp active at all times, great endgame, great looking skills and more..

Obviously you had no idea what it takes to make a game. This is nothing like what you attempted to compare it to.

A game requires a gaming engine. Most Korean gaming studios use the same engine, only customizing the HUD and some gameplay aspects. Other than that, it's pretty much similar as to the one released just before it. As for the "difficulty" part of releasing a game, they spend so much time in CB, you think it WOULD have some time of difference. All in all, it doesn't. :P

It's practically impossible to release a great, completely unique game at our time when most of the ideas have been tried out about which make a game good.. And that's the difficulty of making a game.. Trying to find out what a gamer wants and trying to make it unique is the hard aspect.

Seems like you have no idea yourself.. A great game needs a lot of thoughts and failures to be complete project.

Well Genius, if you had read my post, I explained why it's bad to use the same engine. It creates a generic line of MMORPG's with little or no different elements to set it apart from everything else being released. And I'm not asking for a completely "unique" game. I'm asking for something with a little variety. WHICH isn't too much to ask for as I've seen games built from the ground up and watch them transform from something amazing to piles of crap.

All MMORPGS have similar elements, all the P2P MMOs as well... And as I said myself, Aika for example has TONS of things that make it differ from many other MMORPGS.

Transforming from good to bad is simple for a MMO, WoW is doing the same thing for me with cata.. And that's why all he F2P games don't differ from P2P games too much except for the quality (They're a bit more polished but the same shit.).

This is one of the best F2P mmorpgs that i have played.. The graphics are gorgeous, the pvp is great, the quest text is rather interesting and the instances are rather interesting aswell... In my opinion the classes are interesting, the only minor issue about it is that the classes are gender locked.. The skills look good and it's a good game overall...

There are always people who bitch about small details like not being able to jump around everywhere and the gender lock thing..Annoying..

And last, but not least.. The relic system is unique and gives the ''oil'' for attacking enemy nations and each country has a ''war leader'' who is elected from the biggest/best guild.. . Well the relic system makes some countries more powerful than others and sometimes leaving things unbalanced, cause it will be hard to steal a relic from some other country if they have those buffs.. Yes you heard right, you CAN steal relics from enemy nations..

@geenius3ab I think two reasons for having gender lock is to keep people from thinking about your "real" gender, and maybe they just don't want people to spend so much time creating a character instead of actually playing a game (so in this case, this game should be good).

I'm sure you agree and just by looking back at Diablo 2 for example (another great game with gender lock) in fact you can say there is no character creation option, just a class selection; yet the game makes up in game play.

@Kaizu823 The thing about gender lock for diablo 2 is that they had to make ALL the sprites for the class/armor/movement/weapon combinations, it was much more work then it is now, now with these MMOs you can simply make a male model, a female model and apply any armor/weapon you want, and have these two models apply to all classes.

This appears to look like every other Korean generic RPG out there. Even Atlantic was hard to get used to because of the graphics. The battle system is what set it apart from everything else. I'm not punting every MMORPG over the fence, but seriously, can we get some variety?

@deathscreton There is already a variety of games; the most popular games are ones you hear of, thus the most popular games can sometimes be alike eachother. Just go play a different game if you dont like aika's style; its not for everyone.

play maplestory or car racing or army games or some other weird stuff like that if you think its too generic for you. doesnt make it any less fun or worthwhile

Looks good. Thanks for putting the video together. The jumping issue might not be beta related. Some games are restrictive on where you can walk but most times it doesn't detract from the game. I remember Guild Wars is like that but I didn't care so much. It was fun!
