  • Everyone who watches this needs to go to this website.

    miloshfootball.webs.com/

  • Sign the deal dammit

  • Play my ass...you greedy scmucks

  • NOW The FANS ask the PLAYERS SIGN AND PLAY!!!!!

  • With the lockout seemingly about to be over this week, I can finally say this:

    1) Never once did I think we wouldn't have a season.

    2) Never once did I closely pay attention to anything Chris Mortensen said while standing outside of the NFL offices.

    3) I'm not thinking about NFL football in June and July any fucking way.

    4) SportsCenter's daily lockout stories just sort of washed over me, much like "Favre Watch" did the past three seasons.

    5) Actually, "Favre Watch" was more compelling.

  • I came here to see if anyone else has noticed how Demaurice Smith seems like he's enjoy his newfound celebrity/attention a little bit too much... but scratch that, new plan:

This video sucks ass. Wow. I had heard about it, maybe even heard it before when I wasn't looking at the screen, but SHIT! This is terrible. Could've been so much better.

  • Whoever made this video should be slapped. What a pointless waste of bandwidth.

  • dont let them play until they give in!!! LOL

  • A petition won't fix whatever's going on here.

    Just sayin'.

  • I would play for free pussys, your upset cause you gotta pay more for health insurance. I work many many hours a week and i make 50.000 with no insurance or anything included. You dipshits make hunderd's of thousands and MILLIONS a year. Grown up and get a F'in job you pussys. I will play for free and i guarentee i would have twice as much heart as you PUSSYS.

  • You can play, when your "owners" pay for the stadiums out of their own pocket. Until then Get a job.

  • "Gosh" am really trying ...but my tear ducts don't seem to be working, am trying to work up a tear for a 9 billion dollar a year business built on the backs of tax payers and fans. Darn..with a lock out who will pay over $200 a ticket to go into a arena after $25 parking whitch was builted by tax dollars and eat a $25 hotdog and drink a $8 coke and watch a bunch work-released thugs play a game???

  • @planepuller work-released thugs, by the way u talk i can tell ur not a athletic person who hasn't play a sport in your life so stop having that negative attitude because they work hard for wat they do and it's not easy for them so wat have u done u lazy unemployed fat-ass

  • @planepuller Work Released Thugz? Where did they get drafted from? Colleges? Universities? What the shit have you done with your life bud. You're a dip shit

  • Forget about the salaries, can you imagine being an owner of one of the teams and getting the daily bill for food, transportation costs, lodging, etc. Everyone wants something from these owners and they charge these big guys big money. I think the NFL is making the big money, not the owners, and the tax payers are stuck with a lot of the costs of new stadiums. There's a lot of great athletes out there who never made the pros who would give it their all to have a chance...

  • Let 'em play! I love it when players and fans tell it like it is.

  • "Let Us Play"... Like it would be only owners fault that there's going to be a lockout.

Time to look into the mirror for both sides?

  • let us play?? stop this boycott bs then! as if you'll dont make enough money you want more money and how do we the fans know its about money.. look at whos the head supporters brandy, manning and drew. how the players call this stupid ad; let us be bigger cry babies. also let me say that lost puppy eye sh*t was some serious bs and i laughed more then feel sad

  • In fact I propose a Nationwide boycott of the first four games even if the NFL plays football in 2011. Four weeks of 16 empty stadiums will show the NFL the fans are not happy and we mean it when we say we will leave the sport.

Even mostly empty stadiums for two weeks might wake them up, but four weeks will send a clear message to BOTH players and owners that we the fans run the show not greedy suits or players.

Isn't this argument in the CBA "EXTRA" revenue? That is sad.

  • I like how both sides forget that fans pay the salaries, not Owners. Well the owners may write the checks, it's the fans that pay to attend games, that pay to purchase merchandise, it's the fans that buy stuff at concession.

without fans there might be a league but it would have as much money or excitement.

I'm already boycotting the first 4-5 games of the season regardless of what happens but it looks I'll not watching any NFL this season if something isn't ratified by training camp.

  • Screw the NFL.

  • Millionaires vs. Billionaires ... ridiculous.

  • @krazyxnina

millionaires (minus many thousands of dollars for future healthcare costs for head injuries and degenerative bone disorders) vs. billionaires.

i think i'll side with the "millionaires" on this one. sorry if i'm not showing respect for our masters and "betters"

  • it makes me think what being a fan of a specific team is for being that its rather pointless when you have these owners that have control on how the league functions and such......smh

  • GO AHEAD PLAYERS and OWNERS.......screw up the best sport in the world !

GO AHEAD , put 100,000 + people out of work.

GO AHEAD showcase your GREED in a country that is falling apart economicaly.

GO AHEAD and forget the fans that pay your slalaries.

GO AHEAD and shoot yourselves in the foot.

GOOD LUCK recovering your image from this one KNUCKLEHEADS !

  • @StowAlex not best sport in the world ( in your opinion)

  • I love how there isn't going to be any football this year lol hell yea cuz I HATE football. If everything go's rite; i hope there will NEVER EVER be any football.

  • college!! there real talent that dont only play for fame and money.real players.not celebs.they arent greedy and spoiled like nfl.thats the whole reason theres a lockout.

  • Pretty hard to "let you play" if you walk away from the negotiating table.

  • Contrary to my comment I made a week ago both sides are at fault here The Owners with most of the blame on them but the players aren't innocent in this whole thing either.

  • Football fans don't worry if you don't get to see football on Sunday's or MNF (Monday Night Football) next season....Something better is on Monday's and once a month they have a huge event!!! its called MNW (Monday Night Wrestling) and once a month you can order a PPV on Sunday's!!!! It's called WWE!!!!

  • I have been a huge NFL fan since 1983. I will treat this like I did MLB in the early 90's. Strike and I will find a new sport or activity.

I will watch professional checkers if these spoiled bitches are locked out cause they are "Paid 2 Much", or because the owners think they do not get enough of "The Revenue" after "WE" build most of there venues. If you play in 2011, I will stay. If not, I will not watch the NFL ever. You owners and players alike can dig your own grave or PLAY the game.

  • There's always the UFL.

  • What ever happens, The owners fucked this up, all 32 of them fucked this WHOLE THING UP, NOT ONE wanted to keep the current CBA you can't put this on anyone but all 32 Mother F%$king Owners.

  • @Nascarking24 Just be patient. It's a shame we ALL have to go through this but I guess It's part of the process. There is no doubt we will have season.

  • then stop crying and play

  • I don't think Kevin Mawae's going to be playing, regardless of a lockout.

  • Fuck the owners. Just renew the current CBA.

  • we wanna play..... but we dont because we cant afford health insurance....

  • Lol A Carolina saying "Let them play"? I think i speak for every Panthers fan when i say they'd rather have a lockout than having to watch another miserable season

  • Its funny how they have all these fans saying let them play when in reality most fans are on the owners side

  • Irony defined: Your commercial has locks on the doors, suggesting the owners will lock you out. However, because all the players are decertifying the union, there is no entity for the owners to lock out. Therefore, the only way players won't play, is if they refuse to and go on strike. Certainly a creative tactic, but one of many reasons I decided against playing in the NFL.

  • Bunch of babies that can't get a deal done, not men but babies it sounds like to me, grow a set and get this shit done

  • Players have to realize the owners take all the risk in being an owner. An owner of any bussines is going to make more money than the employees. The veteran minimum salary is just over $400K if the play 3 years they already made more than 80% of people make in their entire working life. Why can't a player after he retires go on to something else put there degrees to use? Also if they're going to complain about injuries why don't they wear all the pads available to them, knee, hip, tail ect.

  • Players cry too much and want too much money for the job they do and to boot they don't want to play 18 games..i am a fan and i fully support the owners sorry you greedy cry baby players

  • @TheAFCman tell that to a players' face.. what kind of job do you work that lets you align so egregiously with the greedy owners? If your boss came to you and told you we would like you to work an extra 6 hours, but we are not going to pay you for it. Would you accept this Does this seem like a fair trade off. The average NFL career is just 3.6 years, and you need to accrue 3 full years to qualify for qualify a measly 5 years of health coverage. This is just the worker repeatedly bending over.

  • Comment removed

  • @solitaryfractureXXX hahaha because the college game is not corrupt at all, where universities can sell jerseys with a students' name on the back, and not have to pay him a dime. I can name you dozen other offenses far worse, but I will not bother to someone who starts sentences with expletives. We, as workers, are all slaves! toiling to earn the money to put back into the consumer driven economy.

  • 0:39 let the panthers lose more games

  • lmao im supposed to feel sorry for these already rich fucks having to go from splitting 60% of 8 billion to splitting 60% of 7 billion dollars.if they dont play ill never watch again.its up to the players to play its not let them play.shit like this makes me sick.especially with the ordinary people who watch the games and keep making them rich losing jobs and what not.

  • @tgrfan42069 if you are so against their salaries that so make you sick. then WHY watch, WHY support, WHY whine about it like you are doing. seems to me to be pretty simple. Enough! they get paid what they do for being the best at it. If you think you deserve it, go and try out for a team!

  • The owners are capitalizing on the jealousy that many so-called fans feel for athletes. The NFL owners already have a system where contracts are one-sided. Players can be terminated on a whim regardless of how many years a contract has on it and yet even when a player's contract expires if he is franchised, he cannot leave. The NFL is making more money than ever and yet the owners are asking the players to both take a paycut AND play more games. And some fans and media blame the players.

  • Hey! I still got College and High School football. They wanna play? Let them play with a salary equal to what their fans earn. Owners should give more money back tot he fans and the city they play for! Yeah let them play, let my team play for me!

  • I'm siding with the players on this one. No to an 18 game regular season and no to greedy owners exploiting the players. LET THEM PLAY!

  • i agree, nascar is praying in bed ever night there will be no football next year

  • The players union must be broken. I hope there is no football next year.

  • Let 'em play

  • Fuck Roger Goodell!!! Let's go steelers!!! I'll pissed if there is a lockout!!! 18 games will ruin the game!! The NHL and NASCAR will be in great shape if there is a lockout! But wait I still watch NASCAR and NHL because I love both of those sports!! But I enjoy the NFL a lot

    NFL NHL NASCAR MLB NHRA

  • @pitpenguinsrulez as long as theres AFL UFL and the new USFL im happy plus with an NFL lockout the NFLPA could lose players cause they might go to UFL or AFL and decide they want to stay there and withdraw from the NFLPA so only the NFL over all will be hurt by a lock out

  • @pitpenguinsrulez You do realize that there are practically 24 games at the moment right? The only thing that's changing is that there's going to be two fewer pre-season games - and those two pre-season games that are being knocked off are just going to be counted for the regular season.

  • why is 18 games bad but 16 isnt?

  • @IBEEZTHAHARDEST higher risk of injuries, and a team would have to play 22 games max to win a superbowl. too much.

  • They wanna play, and I wanna watch them play. I say let them play. If there is a lockout next season, my Sundays and Monday nights next fall and winter are gonna be incredibly unbelievably boring.

  • 0:33 That's Jim from the Office speaking

  • Comment removed

  • If people agree with the owners, then they have a lot of money and don't care about other people. The people who work in the stadiums, not the players, will be affected by the lock out. Don't get me wrong, it will impact the players, but hopefully they have invested their money and can survive. I'm a union president and the players have my support.

  • @ruddenc: If a private business is claiming financial hardship during a contract negotiation, the union has a right to request the company's financials and the company has the legal obligation to show the statements. Now that's how it works in the normal work. The NFL is a world all its own and I'm unsure the same standards apply.

  • Hell the NHL and Nascar are sitting pretty right now if a lockout happens with the NFL and the NBA.

  • this is my favorite sport to watch on tv. If this lockout happens, then ill have nothing good to watch this fall and the economy is going to suffer.

  • wow a jake delhomme jersey ? LMAO

  • Come on MAN, NFL let them play!!!!!! We love football in the Who Dat Nation! It's time to get the owners, players and the NFL on the same page! The ball is in your court make it happen!

  • And as far as saying the revenue for the owners are increasing, that is not necessarily true. Yeah, the Redskins and Cowboys make a lot of money, but that's not every team. The Packers are the only team who releases financial statements (publicly owned), and they are not doing well according to the figures. The players want to see financials from all other teams. BOGUS. What employee of a privately held company should have the right to examine financial statements? They have no right.

  • Nah, screw the NFLPA. I'm with the owners on this one.

As a season ticket holder, I'm sick of being charged full freight on preseason tickets that have become completely worthless (preseason face value = reg season face value). Good job to the owners for wanting this changed. I do too.

The owners deserve to have a return on their investment like any other owner. They made a bad deal in 2006 and they opted out of it within their rights.

    And as f

  • I'm not up to speed on all of the details, but I'm not signing ANY petition for ANY union.

  • From Guatemala.. Let them play.

  • they can always just play madden with each other...

  • FROM BRAZIL, LET THEM PLAY!

  • thumbs up for the annoying kid in video

  • Am I reading right, where the owners get 4 BILLION in TV contracts for 2011 even if the games are not played?

  • "Super Bowl, the biggest event in sports"

ugh no that's the World Cup, fact.

  • Just get a deal done! Honestly where else are they going to go to play football CFL? The average joe who needs to 13 years to make an NFL min salary is the guy getting the brunt of this with higher ticket prices, higher tv costs (sunday ticket), ands jersey.

  • No one says that the owners' have to sign a player for such high amounts! Yes, if they do not the player will go else where! Then another owner will pay the player his/her asking price! That is why the players have such high salaries compared to normal folks! That is also why Ticket prices keep going up, that is also why the food prices keep going up at the venues, and then to accommodate these players and more fans, the teams build bigger stadiums which also increase the prices !

  • The owners of any team in any major sport claim Financial trouble when it comes time to negotiate a CBA with the players. The owners also claim that they are have to pay the high salaries of the players. But does anyone put a gun to the owners' heads and say: "You have to pay this amount of money or else!" ? No!! They, the owners' are the ones that either accept or reject the offers from the players' agents' when it comes time for negotiations!

  • In regards to the High Salaries the Star Players make, That is not the players fault, it is the Owners' fault! Why? Because they are the ones paying the Salaries in the first place! "Well if they did not, the player would go to another team" Then it is still the Owners' fault for paying these exorbitant salaries! They do not have to give in to the Player's and agents' demands for such high salaries when they draft them or negotiate with them!

  • I support the Players Union.

If you don't support the Union you are literally a right wing extremist who favors corporations that exploit players.

  • Comment removed

  • @Joe402 Would that than make you left wing hypocrite? I thought you were a against anyone making over 250K a year?

  • @PrimetimeBT

Wow a Bill O'Reilly talking point thanks for that post.

  • let them...SETTLE THE DAM CBA! its not fair the TEAMS have 4 billion in rev even if there are NO games....Thats a hell of a war chest to work with. Players...DONT get paid if they dont play, so where is the EQUALITY & FAIRNESS IN THAT!?!

  • Oh no! We have to play more football games, how terrible! Jeez, you're doing something that millions of people would give up everything to do, and you're whining about getting to play more football games!? You already ger paid heaping amounts, even if you don't preform as expected (like Favre). Meanwhile ticket prices are so expensive that it's hard for lots of die hard fans who care about a team immensely to ever see a game, where you whine and then go to another team for even more money.

  • Yes to a Rookie cap but No to a salary Cap!!! I want the old NFL back. Early 90's and before. When there was Dynasties in the NFL. I could care less how much the players get paid. Good for them.

  • of course the god damn nazi's that run the NFL wont air this commercial

  • YES LET THEM PLAY & YES TO THE ROOKIE CAP

  • I would be pissed if my boss said to me that i will get my pay cut but the business is making good money off my productivity .

  • The PLAYERS don't want to change the CBA structure with owners. They want to take lower rookie wages & give that money to veterans who have proven they are ballers in the NFL not college, the rest goes to benefits for LEGACY players from the old school. I'm sure you didn't know this but player salaries are paid for directly from tv revenue. The players LOVE the fans becuase they know its the fans insanity and devotion that make the tv contracts so lucrative and player salaries what they are.

  • Let them sit. Tired of hearing I'm underpaid. Sit out the season and see how you are underpaid.

  • What is really funny about this video is 1) Kevin Mawae dosen't play anyway(he is retired) and 2) Demaurice Smith never played. The players are a bunch of spoiled brats. As far as I know they don't want a rookie salary cap. In all fairness the NFL does not do a good job of taking care of retired players, thats about the only gripe I have.

  • @ufcjoel1

The players DEFINITELY want a rookie cap. Think about it, rookies don't deserve 85% of the money they get. Does a kid graduate law school and become PARTNER at a law firm and get paid more than the best attorneys in the world? Does a kid graduate medical school and get paid more than the best surgeons? NO WAY. It should be like baseball & basketball, rookies get a signing bonus and minimum salaries until they prove they deserve the cash & become a free agent. Its Common Sense!

  • I can't believe that the owners want to lock out the players instead of bargaining. It's not like the game has EVER made more money (it hasn't) had more fans (never) or raised more revenue from more sources (not even close). If they can't figure out a way to split up the billions of dollars that they are making, then they really are bush league.

  • The players are showing a significant mis-understanding of basic economics- specifically supply and demand. Fans provide a huge demand for football. But at the end of the day that demand is for the on-field product, not the specific people playing it. You think GODdell and the owners couldn't find another 1000 players to take the league minimum in a heartbeat? Meanwhile, do you think the current crop of players could bankroll a new league? Get to the bargaining table, NFLPA, and make peace.

  • SOME OF YOU PEOPLE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR OWN PERSONAL SALARY OR JOB. IF YOUR JOB SUCKS, ITS YOUR FAULT NOT GUYS WHO WORKED HARD TO GET INTO THE NFL. YOU SOUND LIKE LIBERAL SOCIALIST, "my salary suck so yours should too since you only play a game!"

  • @freelancepimp YEAH, ANYTHING FOR MONEY AND **SUCCES** RIGHT? WHAT ABOUT..ANYTHING FOR LOVE AND FREEDOM? A NURSE ***ADS MORE VALUES TO OTHERS*** THAN ANY MOVIE STAR OR SPORTS PLAYER, DON T YOU THINK?? and how much they (nurses) get pay?? why??

  • Comment removed

  • @ everyone that is complaining about how much they make...

Please, a little perspective: They are the best in the world at what they do, and get paid because of it, no different than top engineers, doctors, lawyers, real estate, etc. Look up Cooper Manning for proof, he makes more than either of his brothers.

They also get paid ridiculous amounts of money because the dangers of playing the game and training required are equally high. However, with more player safety, that may need changed.

  • @mju516 I'm not commenting on your other points but you're crazy if you think Cooper makes more than his brothers. Eli makes $15.3 million a year, that's the same as the CEO of JP Morgan Chase. Cooper makes nothing close to that. He's not even a top executive at Howard Weil.

  • @mju516 So are the Olympic athletes few of them get paid much at all.

Hail to The Washington Scab-Skins let's let people who enjoy the game play it again. They can beat the 'Pros'

    /watch?v=D0ZVIgJSgoM

  • @mju516 ITS FUCKING FOOTBALL YOU DUMB FUCK!!! FOTBALL!!! why cant i meet dumb fucks like you at work..make me wanna smack the spit out your mouth..these clowns play ball...serious...play ...football...they aint docs, theyy aint lawyers, they aint fucking ancient greek gods..there football players...as far as hazards in jobs..the nfl isnt even listed as a hazardous job..who doesnt wanna get dirty and play some good ol fashion football? man FUCK YOU..TAKE YOUR MOUTH OFF THERE DICKS....prick.

  • You can play if you want , quit being greedy. You guys make more in a year than most people around here make in a lifetime, and you do it playing a game you love and enjoy. So either shutup and play the damn game or get out of the way and give somebody else a chance.

  • @sawdust112 Should of gotten an education then lazy prick.

  • screw this you get paid millions of dollars to play a game! I don't care who plays as long as their is football being played next year. You wont get my sympathy. If you don't like it come work in the real world and let someone else that will appericate what you have, as for thw two more games, guess what they are already playing them they don't need 4 preseason games, or a pro bowl game if they are gonna play a sissy version of football. all rookies should get a 2 year 3.2 million dollar -

  • @insncwby Hey shit fag. It's a profession. They have trained since elementary/middle school. And are PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES. Key word: PROFESSIONAL. You stupid fuck, so quit whining. Maybe you should of went and got an education you fat lazy fuck.

  • I will not watch scab player next season if there is a lock out. I feel for the real workers at arenas and the surrounding businesses who may be effected.

  • Oh and one more thing; how can people complain about NFL players salaries when most people watch at home for free but pay almost 30 bucks to see a movie. Last I checked actors are not running into burning buildings and educating our children. Actors don't often visit Children's hospitals and there are very few who can claim they actually picked up a hammer and helped built a home.

  • Add 2 more games with no increase of pay; for real! How many people want to be told that they have to work more hours for the same exact pay? We can't discriminate against the players just because their job pays more than ours.

  • Comment removed

  • 60 million guaranteed for never playing a down in the NFL, sorry no. shit has to change

  • @mrbojanglezs ahmen brotha!

  • @mrbojanglezs You must be refering to a 1st round rookie signing bonus.............if so I agree. Other than signing bonuses there is no guaranteed money in NFL. if you don't make final cut you won't get a check cut.

Rookie signing bonuses is not what this lockout is about.

  • I'd never sign your ridiculous petition. We're in a bad economy. My pay has decreased. Your pay will decrease. This is what you unionized commies voted for with Bammy. You prepared a shit sandwich, now you must eat it.

  • I will never let you play.

  • The players were just fine with the CBA the owners opted out of. Stop pushing them into an 18 game schedule, you greedy pricks.

  • All other arguments aside, this ad makes it sound like the players don't have a choice. They do!! If they want to play, then tell their reps to make a deal rather than litigate. If you or I go into our boss and demand a raise and they say "No". Our choices are simple, go back to work or quit & find another job. I say they need to do the same. Don't come cryin' on my shoulder!!

  • The average career is around 3 years...mostly due to injury. I have seen a few comments regarding the NFL paying for injuries....simply does not happen. If a NFL player is hurt on the job their only lasting benefit is the same as it is for the rest of the working population...Workers Compensation. Think about it this way....late round draft pick, minimum salary, career ending injury in second season, ten years later he can't hardly play in the yard with his kids. Let them play and pay them well!

  • @bvstore78

    Agree! Thanks for posting!

  • Even the players who aren't millionaires aren't exactly working for minimum wage. I believe the lowest salary allowed under the old CBA was $275,000 - damned good money for playing a game.

The real sticking point here is revenue sharing. If the owners approve it, a $175 million cap is not out of the question. if they don't approve it, any increase would bankrupt teams like Green Bay or Buffalo.

  • A Lockout would hurt the cities of the teams drastically, especially small market teams. It would affect hotels, restaurants, etc... That doesn't include how this would affect the guy selling peanuts, the lady taking tickets, the teenager selling gameday programs all the way to the guy cleaning the restrooms... An NFL lockout would have a snowball effect among many avenues...

  • @akellerjr81 I went to Seattle to watch a football game in December 2008. Had a good time, ate some nice meals, did some shopping. Yes, Seattle can thank the Seahawks for my dollars. That said - take football away and my money doesn't disappear, does it? I go elsewhere, use the money for a down-payment on a car, a new TV, invest it. The season ticket holders will go to more concerts, see some live comedy shows, see movies or donate it. The money will go somewhere. It's not going to disappear.

  • @rudyando Money may go elsewhere, but not to the extent that it goes to football and the affect that football revenue has on the economy. Football is by far the #1 sport in the nation and nothing will ever be able to substitute that and it's economical benefits.

  • The NFL is suddenly worried about player safety, yet they want to add 2 more games which would drastically increase injuries throughout the NFL. That is an additional 32 football games per regular season. Could you imagine the amount of injuries that would happen in that time? The Super Bowl would consist of "The Last Teams Able To Walk", not The Most Talented Teams. The NFL could care less about "player safety". They see dollar signs by adding 2 more games and the players are the catalyst.

  • Players are paid nice salaries, but the NFL is a billion dollar industry. The players are only getting their share of the entire revenue that we, the fans, feed into. However, not all players are "millionaires". We only get attracted by the household names. Many players in the NFL make the league minimum or maybe just a little more.

Also, if anyone has actually ever played the game of football, you'd understand how ridiculous playing 18 games really is. Quantity over Quality...

  • PLAYERS...Each of uall have my full support! I am a FOOTBALL FAN first when it comes 2 sports!!I've grown 2 love this game! Please allow these men the opportunity 2 continue playing a game they love n the fans the opportunity 2 love the game also. Football is big in our family...it brings us together on Sundays...unless our teams are playing against one another...LOL...Always supporting my NEW ORLEANS SAINTS...LET THEM PLAY! Its not about the players, but the owners...get the facts guys first.

  • think they the players need to learn to save their millions and NOT spend it all on big boy toys, drugs and sex.. Then they would have plenty for retirement. What the owners need to do if the players want a retirement package take part or their salaries put into nice little bank account for them. That says IRA on it or something to that effect. They wouldn't be to access that money until they turn 50 or a certain age. Unless they needed the money to help them paying for an NFL playing Injury.

  • \\o/

  • Yep I feel so sorry for these multi millionaire footballers, pay them even more as Im sure they can barely survive on their current salaries!

  • I don't make near what they do, and I have properly planned for retirement. I am in sales, and my hurdles were raised this year...without negotiation. I work for a great company, and choose to keep my job. If they don't like what is being asked of them, McDonald's is hiring. They should have forgone the Range Rover with 24" rims and put it into retirement. The players are spoiled, immature idiots that have failed to prepare. "A lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on m

  • I guess people do not know the meaning of a Lock Out. That means the owners/management is locking the Players out. Meaning the players are being prevented from doing their JOB!! Also People should learn what this is all about! Yes the players want more money for insurance and for retirement, because the Owners want an 18 game season which will increase the likelihood of a season ending or career ending injury. The owners do not want to part with their Billions and could care less.

  • @groffeaston Thank you!!! People don't get it...that would be like your jobs asking you to work more hours but saying we are not going to give you anymore benefits. We want you to work overtime but youre not getting the money. Owners need to take care of their players...bottom line. The players are what makes the owners money by drawing fans to the stadiums, buying merchandise, going to team events, etc. LET THEM PLAY!!!

  • @groffeaston Right , this is a lockout not a strike. I am started to think a lot of these people or just trolls. Its either that or they are very very very ignorant.

  • I NEED FOOTBALL IN MY LIFE!!!!

  • they sure did a half ass job on making this

  • What is life, without football?

  • Sheesh . . hey players. . sit down . . shut up and do a deal. . sign a new CBA . . you're not broke are you. . and neither will you be .. this ad has not made me side with you. . it has angered me. . the power to play is with YOU!!! so shut up . . and play. . .

  • In my opinion, this doesnt get their point across and 95% of audiences will just forget about it.

  • It's a lockout plain and simple which means the owners are most to blame. They are making unrealistic demands (imagine a 15% pay cut and working an extra hour a day, more or less the increase in 2 regular season games they are demanding along with taking $2.4 instead of $1 billion off the top of about $10 billion in revenue).

  • @snahumko

Please, not like the players aren't getting paid enough as it is... WTF is two more games. Geesh the money they are making they should only get paid for half a season work the other half for free. crap. How many people do you know that's makes a 1-20 million dollars in a year???

  • @ryandaltex Maybe you misunderstood as you seem to be angry about how much the players are making. That is not the issue, if it were I'd agree with you, they make too much. What is at issue here is the fact the owners are choosing to lock out the players come March 4th because they want to renegotiate. How many owners signed contracts with a gun to their head?

  • Let them play. Or even let me play, I'll go out and play for way less money then they are making. If they don't play we can do our own replacements league.

  • Let them play.

  • These guys put life and limb on the line to bring us a game. They deserve a good compensation and retirement package. You want to know what life is like after the NFL? Google hall of famer Mike Webster. Time for the fascist owners to be a little less greedy. Let them play!

  • @Grendelbc

hmm, think they the players need to learn to save their millions and NOT spend it all on big boy toys, drugs and sex.. Then they would have plenty for retirement. What the owners need to do if the players want a retirement package take part or their salary put into nice little bank account for them. That says IRA on it can't use until or 50 or something like most other American try to do...
