  • Really good advice, thanks!

On the topic of hydration on longer runs, could someone explain why it is essential to be drinking water after an hour continually? i personally dont.. i know i really should, but i really dont like carrying extra weight when im running in the fells. Sometimes im so bad i will run for upto 4 hours without any water or food, my body seems to let me do it, what potential damage am i doing? thanks

  • @jamesmb007 I agree since same happens to me. I can run for about 20 kms which takes more than an hour and then go back to my home running which takes the same tim yet I dont feel like drinking more than 1 litre the whole run, makes me feel heavy and lazy! I guess what she meant was that AFTER the run food and lots of water will be needed, and I think every runner does that. Thank you so much for the video by the way helped me with the small meals idea. Thanks a million.

  • any specific ratios you'd say?
