hello, iv just recieved a set of GOSO picks and im trying to pick a zone 6 pin that was in my front door and im finding it very difficult iv tried raking it and av broken my rake, is it essential that i rake my lock B4 picking????? and when im picking tha back pins the third front pin seems to click back up is there a sequence i have to pick the pins in. Please help as i so much want to be able to do this to impress my girlfriend lol

Hi mate,i think if you have broken a rake you may be using a bit to much tension? You don't have to rake a lock before picking it you can pick it one pin at a time,or rake it first to get it in to a false set and then go in and set the last pins with a hook pick.There is a "binding order" when picking.Find the pins that bind & set them in that order e.g. 153462.Hope this helps? :o)

Cheers mate! I fitted a Yale when i replaced this lock for someone who'd had their keys stolen. The Yale seemed a much better lock :o)
