yea go carve your name one the long dock furthest out and thats your extent of fun downtown st marys. or wait til nite to watch the highschool weirdos come out of the wood work
my parents live in this town just 5 minutes from the waterfront. my father has a sailboat, it's a nice place and is usually between 70 to 80F on thanksgiving. All the new englanders have seem to start coming down about 10 yrs ago because property was so cheap, that is not the case now. How in the hell do you get all those palms to grow in western canada? That's amazing.
WE actually have a St.Marys lake on our Island, how about that? The climate here on the extreme south west coast of Canada is mild year round, wet in the winter and dry and warm Spring and Summer. The Pacific Ocean and the offshor Japan Current keeps our climate moderate, so never do we see extremes like the rest of the country. We still haven't even seen frost yet this Fall. This is a very palmy place. Cheers
@BigJT2010 I don't like sand gnats and I really dislike high humidity, but I do love Palm Trees. Our son lives near Brownsville, Texas and it gets pretty hot & humid down there as well.
@BananaJSSI to each his own but i cant stand them. ive planted many euro fan palms and queen palms working landscaping and they all just seem to need too much attention. and there are so many little palms in camden county you can find certain areas its just acres of nothing but palms. they can make a simple hunting trip or stroll through the woods a full body workout ha
@BigJT2010 It is true. I have always loved palms since my childhood and I actually have a palm nursery and I ship my home grown palms world wide. By the way, I live on the west coast of Canada.. There are a lot of palms where I live.
