I got their album >>The Nephilim<< as a gift for my 18th birthday back in December 1988 (thank you so much, Christiane!) and ever since that it's one of my favorite top ten albums ever. Due to the point in time I first heard them for me their sound is intimately connected to the cold and grey atmosphere of late autumn and early winter, the perfect time to start a travel inside your soul - and this is the perfect soundtrack to do so...

what happened to gothic music? it remaind only heavy stuff! no darksoul with feeling. why should i suffer with them, if they are alreadey dead inside? I want back gothics with a sense and love for music. Like the Fields of the Nephilim!
@Valkoisen well, they were absolutely iconic when they started. the heroes followed. the neph were great in the 80'. something very close to the actual goth sound and au pair with the dark situations of cure and the miriad of the groups that imitated them. the heros started to be publically know after 1987 and actually in the 90 when they came out with senderos de traicion
this is pure essence for the soul... your ignorants is normal to the majority of shallow minds on this planet... if you new about elysium its paradise refered to in greek mythology... nirvana... satan my ass love and peace

what the hell is up with the pyramid and all seeing eye , looks like this group is a sell out to satan and the government doesnt surprise me look at all the illuminati symbolism and wake up people these guys are part of the problem.....
to see this band live was amazing back in 87 i saw them by mistake at leeds uni they was supporting zodiac mindwarp who i wanted to see....from the minute they came on stage they just mezmerised me !!! zodiac mindwarp was brilliant too it was one of the best gigs i ever went to but these have stood the test of time i still play neph tunes....forever remain!!!!! they rock
we are the lost ones in the company of bright angels. I was lucky and happy to see them performing in the late 80's. what a brilliant band they were and how much the influenced my life.
True Last Exit For The Lost = dedicate to SFC Hank Lane, US Army Special Forces. Fallen soldier mysterious death in Vientiane, Laos in 1999. Whether he choose to die (sucide), unintentional (OD), or murder - is unknown. Found dead w/ 1 kilo+ 100% pure China White(H). Will kill you dead. Not the way to go - die stranger in evil place of evil spirits. Air America (CIA) smuggling route. Don't be wack - get off smack. R.I.P. brother - I know you did not want to die.
love this track, I saw them many, many times. Once at Brixton Acadamy the whole mosh sat down to this track, arm waving and gentle swaying for the most part. Then the slow rise towards the end and all hell was let loose. wicked gig, one of many.
It's songs like this that make me love music.

Where is that symbol from? Is it a pagan symbol, satanic symbol or something much darker and linked to Freemasonry and the New World Order ?
