  • hahahaha funny ending, but why are the buttons and letters on the screen flashing?

  • I own this tuner and their chorus pedal. All the Hardwire pedals are built like tanks with top notch quality. Better than BOSS pedals in my opinion. I can imagine them expanding their product line, and I see they have recently with a tremolo/rotary pedal.

  • How much is this tuner? I'm lookin to buy a new one. :)

  • at the end that has happened to me

  • god...the thing blinks like crazy. i'm trying to imagine tuning on a dark stage with strobe lights going off at the same time...i'm having a seizure just thinking about it

  • so sick that they're giving these out for free with a purchase of 2 other hardwire pedals...but seriously they need to make a hardwire phaser and fuzz

  • hey! does anyone know the power usage (in milliamps) of this pedal?

  • sounds liek iron man out of tune...

  • So if I tune a Guitar to C standard will it just say C, F, Bb, Eb... and still be really accurate?

  • Hahaha TOON YURR GEETAR!!!!

  • damn, why dont they make a flanger :/

  • 0:25 to 0:29 is basically refering to the Boss TU-2 hahah.

    CHOON YAL' GEETARRR!

  • Comment removed

  • i dont get it

  • lol TUNE YOUR GUITAR!!!!!!!!

  • loooool

     xD

  • 2:29 lolz

  • TOON YOOR GEETAAR!!

  • So, this pedal's not chromatic?

  • What gave you that impression?

  • Well, to tune in Eb you had to push the Tuning button instead of just going flat 'til you went down a whole semi-tone

And I see no b - #'s at the note display

  • It is fully chromatic. We were demonstrating how to change the tuning reference so that half a step down still displays E. Normally it will display D#. Thanks

  • Oh! Thank you for clearing that up. I might as well try this and the Boss side by side to make a decision on what to buy (Maybe I'll try Korg's PB as well)

  • lol TUNE YA GUITAR

  • LOL!

  • lol the end is funny

  • The end is priceless haha!

  • True bypass is useless without good cables. Even then there is still tone loss. I keep it straight forward. Good cables. Good guitar, tuned and setup well. A tuner on the side and only two pedals in the chain. Screw pedal tuners.

  • What's a"good" brand of cable? I have alot of pedals and want to keep my tone intact as much as possible.

  • Roadhog, planet waves

  • I use Livewire advantage and elite series cables for my rig. They are what I consider "good" cables. But "pro" or "crazy good" cables would be like George Ls, Mogami, and some Dimarzio cables. That's all I can name right now. I bought a Monster cable and it sucked the top end frequencies right out of my guitar. So don't buy their crap.

  • Ok thanks Yeah I always heard Monster cables were good but mine went out quick. Somehting shorted in it. Dimarzio's would be lovely but that's expensive. Thanks for the info man!

  • Well my Monster cable is tough. That's probably why people say that they are good. But they really suck the brightness out of any guitar. For some people(very few) it is a desirable effect but for me I enjoy hearing my guitar the way it should sound.

  • Definately. I want to hear my guitar as unaffected as possible when my effects aren't on.

  • hahahaha!!

    buuuu tune your guitar!!!

  • Tune your guitar!!!

  • haha

  • hahahahahha! Funny!

  • TUNE YOUR GUITAR!

    rofl

  • Epic shit right there.

  • lol nice outro!!!!

  • Does anyone know if this is better or equal to the Korg pitch black tuner?

  • Good question. I need to know this too!

I dropped $70. on a Korg Pitch Black, and I like it's accuracy & sensitivity (and also the fact that it's chromatic - since I use a number of different tunings!) However, that "true-bypass" issue has me thinking???

I assume you have a KORG Pitch-Black too?

If so, do you like it?

  • Yes I have. It is also true bypass and is supposed to be very accurate. I just have the impression that the marker is jumping a bit too much around, so it takes a bit of time to get it in the center. This is normal for tuners so I just would like to know if it's the same with this one. It didn't seem to do so in the video. But the video is also a commercial, so...

  • Nice review and nice example at the end. =)

  • Wow! That pedal is the best one I've seen yet. Great demonstration too!

  • Best. Tuner. Demo. EVER.

  • TUNE YOUR GUITAR BUUUU!! awesome

  • TUNE YOUR GUITAR!

  • don't let this happen to you! :DDD awesom! :DDD

  • HAHAHAHAHAH awesome

  • man that is a awesome pedal and the end was hilarious

  • my neighbour should get one...

  • lol

  • HAHAHAHAHA tune the guitar!!!

    great tuner, i own one.

  • just learn by ear this pedal is sick but i dont have that kind of money for a tuner :D

  • When I saw this in my update box I figured demoing a tuner was a stupid idea, but I don't even care, anything PGS is awesome.

  • hahaha you guys are hilarious

  • I was interested how they were going to review this, but they did a good job- very funny at the end there

  • sick

  • Does the Boss TU-2 have true by pass?

  • Nope

  • lol no

  • im almost certain it does

  • it doesn't

  • no it's buffered

  • no it's not

  • Lol "Tune Your Guitar!!!"

  • lol more like

    "toooooooooOooOoon yooorrr gggguuuttaarrr"

  • love the ending guys

  • haha i like the out of tune iron man

  • see ya later tu-2. boss better get on the ball

  • Is the BOSS TU-2 better or what? is that true bypass or not?

  • No, Boss TU2 is NOT TBP

  • The BOSS tuner is not true bypass. This one is. I don't think there's much comparison.

  • The boss is buffered not true bypass. This is true bypass and seems to have more features. Seems like the Digitech is the better deal

  • there are those who say that to have a high quality buffer first in line on your pedal board is a good thing. I don't know the specifics, but Pete Cornish (famous guitar rig designer) has an entire paper out on the topic. Something about balanced impedances. I'm not sure.

  • LOL

  • The ending made me laugh.

    Great video guys!

  • cool

  • Totally first.
