this ad isnt trying to get vegetarians to bloody try chicken...its to get ppl who alreadt like chick to buy THEIR brand! its funny and thats what appeals to ppl...man some of u r dim
this is an incredibly poorly thought out advertising campaign, because the idea is obviously to get people who don't like chicken on side and get them to try their products. rule number one when advertising anything is: don't insult your demographic.
this add is not targeted at the incredibly minor market segment that dislike chicken.
as the add itself states, it's a very minor market segment. this campaign is incredibly smart in the way it uses humour to position itself and increase brand awareness.
it is aimed at the huge segment of the market that DO like chicken, appealing to them through the aforementioned humour.
