@billy1212ist Yeah it's amazing what shit human beings can convince themselves to believe. That "it's the devil" line is what they regurgitate from their pastors; I've heard it from mine when I was young. It's a convenient way of covering anything that purports to disprove their fairy tale. Anything that is based on real research and study is of the devil if it shows them wrong. Once it was used to tell us the earth was flat or that the earth was the center of our solar system.

@billy1212ist I also believe religion serves the purpose not only of a comfort to think one could live forever in heaven, but also that for many I really think the idea of other people they don't like burning in hell forever makes them rather happy. Anyone who takes comfort in that is sick & not a good human being deep down inside.
