  • can i do this with my car speakers?

  • @motakaoj88 yes but the leds will either blow from too much power going into them (louder sound) or they wont light up at all from not enough sound

  • you have two wires on each side where I Ligos column

  • thx

  • what's the name of the video song...???

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks man! I really needed this :D

  • übelster pfusch

  • do you have to put the leds in the tube? I have everything but the tube and i really want to try this

  • @HheyHarris no, you don't but your get the cool effect of a a strip of light instead of just a random flash.

  • @iAmHolyStupid lol ac always works for dc things

  • and you cut the wires to the principle? pay and where the two wires of each?

  • @miguelzix i cut the wires to have more room to play with, for me it was too hard to reach in with a soldering iron and connect my two extra wires. i dont understand your second question.

  • SOO cool :D

  • super cool vid thou

  • you think if you used a fuse in line with the LED's it would make them not blow up @ extreme volume?

  • @BIGGIEDEVIL yes you could do that, check my other video out for a different way of getting the same effect but without blowing the leds out

  • @BIGGIEDEVIL yes you could do that, check my other video out for a different way of getting the same effect but without blowing the leds out

  • @monster2221 you could put a fuse in line but it wouldnt do anything to protect the led's from frying. to protect an led you have to use a resistor. the resistor value depends on the highest voltage that your sub woofer can reach (voltage during the strongest bass).

  • I cant see where are you solder the speaker wire :(

The quality is not good :( I cant understand, please help me :) I want leds to my subwoofer :D please help :)

  • @tmt2345 i am soldering the wires to each terminal of the sub/speaker, in short there should be already two wires that lead from the sub to the main board, i just add one speaker wire wire to each of the connection on the sub/speaker, remember the speaker wire is double meaning that it all ready has two separate wires in one, and that is were i connect my leds to , the wires that i have connected to the sub/ speaker terminals.

  • @monster2221 ohh Thanks a lot brother!!! ;) I will try it and i will tell you my news!!!!

  • @monster2221 dood you're going to blow up the leds if you just connect them to a hi power amp it wuld be easyer to use a TIP 31 or TIP 120 transistor it provides beat synk and also you wont blow your leds

  • Bro you are very good, very nice video thanks a lot...But i need help!!please!!!I cant understand the part 1:20 - 1:35 ...Could you please help me??Where i will solder the speaker wire??I have logitech Surround Sound Speakers Z506

  • @tmt2345 well there should be two wires already connected to the speaker it self. you need to connect the speaker wire to each terminal that is on the speaker.

  • @monster2221 is there any way to add more leds?

  • @iAmHolyStupid thats what makes them flash

  • @iAmHolyStupid and did they light up?

  • @iAmHolyStupid did you try using leds anyway?

  • @lester2518 depending on how many leds you have hooked up and how bright you want them. For one led you will not need a resistor unless your sub is outputting a lot of volts. try one without a resistor, if it blows then add a resistor, maybe like 47k ohm resistor.

  • i have a z 2300 (200 watts) could i do this?

  • @logitechforthewin no. You'll blow the LEDs

  • dawg,,, i need you to use a better camera :/

  • @sparkey u shit face do u see a amp. The power that the led forces back is less than .5 volts. They have nothing to worry about. And if anything were to happen, thats why they make fuses

  • Just so we know, how many watts is going to that sub?

  • Doesn' that increase the impedance, so that the amp could be destroyed by "tuning" your speakers like that?

  • You forgot to tell that there is a positive and negative poles to LEDs as vell as speaker, and LEDs won't work if their positive pole is attached to the negative.

Before instaling and solder LEDs you have to test witch wire is correct.

  • this is a good way to blow your head unit up, you idiot

  • making videos like this is kiddish.provide the circuit diagram

  • whats the song in the end ?

  • can you share that remix version of Hot plz ^^

  • Wats the name of this song?

  • I used this same principle to make light drums that work without batteries. Just play the drums and they light up! Check out my videos for kinetic light drums!

  • do you leave rhe water in the tube

  • @thestunna100 yes

  • yes, you can but sometimes it is a lot easier to do it like I did and some times it is not.

Check out my other video on how to do the same thing but with more leds and better results.

  • so basically i can put an led on the speaker wire...before it goes into the speaker? yes or no?.... :)

  • @mikez541 , depending on volume...or wattage of the amp i guess?

  • dude you are the best !!! i done !! thank you so much !!!!

    perfect both of your videos!!

  • If someone hooks up more LED your amplifer will wont work anymore. Tried it and burned my subwoofer amplifer :S

  • 0:42 , there is a kitchen towel roll inside.

  • @MaxVolumeify ye its kind of like the roll form a paper towel but it a strong cardboard roll

  • Yeah ive seen then before

  • my led keps on burning out plz help me

  • @haloass123 well the thing is that if u play ur music too loud there will be too much power going to the LEDs. So try turning ur music down. It might be hard because each song has a diffrent volume. If u have lots of LEDs than it's ok but if u have a small amount u have to be careful. Also u could add a ressistor. Hope this helped. Tell me how it works out.

  • @haloass123 or try soldering a resistor to the leds just look it up on youtube to see how

  • @haloass123 you also gotta make sure you have the right voltage LED's. try the 12 volts bub

  • how did u hook up ur ipod to ur sub?

  • @polozero7 I'ts not just my sub it's my speakers too. I used the stereo cable that came with the speakers and sub and connected that to my iPod. I hope this helped xD and if u have any questions just send me a message and if u do any mods to your speakers or subs send me a pic or video of the outcome. Thanks for watching!!!

  • what size led did you use and tubing size?

  • @Beachroller the normal size of LEDs is 5mm thick and that's wat I used in the vid. The tube I think was 5mm too (Which is good) but if u want to be on the safeside u can use 4 - 4.5mm tubeing so water dosent get in or around ur sub. If u have any questions on how to do something just send me a messege.

  • @monster2221 thanks, im going to try it out.

  • Thanks for the tube idea! I never thought of that befor!! I usually just have led's hot glued at just the right angle towards the speaker! Thanks though! :]

  • @Gocartnut96 ye no problem. The tube makes it look a lot better.

  • Some remix of Inna - Hot ... nice modification! Simple and effective!

  • what is that song?

  • @gapy18 yes the song is called Inna vs Cisky & Soncini Projeto - Hot (Mrak & Koba Mash-Up)
