@DarkPagan2035 there is more to it than that, their had always been slavery in africa among the tribes but it was a really a system of servitude and you could work out of it and often times be returned to your tribe. When the white people arrived many of the Africans thought it was the same thing but the white people had a totally different system, they took them away forever, tortured them, treated them like animals, made slaves of complete families, sold off babies away from mothers (part one)

Generally, the people who are unable to take racial humor in proper context are the people who have racial issues that they haven't worked out in their own minds. The jokes often hit a little too close to home. You can usually read the spirit in which edgy jokes are presented and know if the comedian has real issues or not.

This video is a microcosm of racial progress in this country. In 1981, almost 30 years ago! We could laugh at something like this. SNL had no problem giving the okay for this skit. Now we take race so seriously, that they had to take the video off of You tube. And SNL? They would never aire anything like this today!
