i actualy like and understand the whole anti hero thing

the reason i think he may have continiued the cannible thing is becaulse he got adicted to human flesh + didn't any body think about the trauma driving him insane at the same time as his killings

And even if his english was not that good, damn, Hannibal is not English nor American and Gaspard Ulliel was absolutely awesome, because Hannibal is such a complex character to play, but he did great.

The problem I had with the movie was that it was trying to make him look like some kinda anti hero. But he is no anti-hero. He's a complete monster who should be locked away forever not a "misunderstood fallen angel". The movie wasn't as bad as everyone says but it was just so needless.

Regardless of how great a performance is, if America does not accept something, America having the strongest influence over the western civilazation, it will flop in their eyes. This film flopped not because it was bad, not because those who made it didn´t put enough effort into it but simply because AMERICA didn´t like it.

Although the movie recieved many bad reviews, I personally enjoyed it as if offerred insight as to why he has become what he is.

I agree with you too. I loved the film. Gaspard did an awesome performance. I fell in love with hannibal, was afrais of him and felt his lost (when he goes completly mad)... He deserved at least some nominations...
