  • Churches are dens of superstition, fraud and deceit. And denominations are different variations of the same lies. The bible belongs in the toilet.

  • Thanks for posting!

  • Glory to Jesus Christ! Thank you Father! This is from a Roman Catholic Priest!

  • Great posting! Listened with intesrest! Thanks! Велика подяка за чудову презентацію!

  • go to church sniff the drugs in the incense that makes everyones minds go numb then let them molest the children while everyone shrugs.if you dont think thats funny, maybe you should read the ryan report.

  • I think you're mixing us up with the Roman Catholics. Our Priests have wives.

  • I can't understand him... but he has a nice beard :D

  • The first Iconogrpaher was St. Luke the Apostle who himself wrote an icon of Christ and the Virgin Maria/Theotokos.

Before that CHRIST Himself gave a Holy Image of Himself for it to be sent to King Agbar. This is known as the Holy Napkin or Holy Mandilion.

  • Take a brief look at Church history, the 7 Ecumenical Councils that gave you the Holy BIble which you quote and early dogma/Holy Tradition of the 1st 4 centuries of ancient Christianity and you will see how icons were used, how iconostasis were in the Church temples and how everything was exactly how the Orthodox Church is today. The only preserved faith, teaching, dogma, tradition, way. God's ONLY CHURCH!

  • joodbrood...

In the Old Testament and before, images were always sued and veenrated (not worshipped). For instance the ARK OF COVENANT, ROD OF AARON, STAFF OF MOSES, BRONZE SERPENT etc...

WORSHIP & VENERATION are two different things.

  • Icons are theology in colour. Windows to Heaven. Portraits of our HEAVENLY family. They help us during prayer to focus through the sense of sight.

So for someone who is deaf, mentally ill or for a child/infant, ICONS are the only means of education and theology.

  • oh people repent!

    Deuteronomy 5:8

8Thou shalt not make thee any graven image,

or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

is that clear? we shouldnt make pictures of what we think God looks like.

this is so simple. even a little child unnderstands it.

how am I taking this out of context?

  • ΑΡΙΘΜΟΙ ΧΧΙ. 8

  • Numbers 6.66

And god said let their be fags like you who believe this stupid shit lol

  • Numbers 21. 8 (Septuagint)

And Moses prayed to the Lord for the people; and the Lord said to Moses, Make thee a serpent, and put it on a signal-staff; and it shall come to pass that whenever a serpent shall bite a man, everyone so bitten that looks upon it shall live.

  • oh people repent!

Deuteronomy 5:8 (King James Version) 8Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:

  • You really don't know what you are quoting or what you are talking about my friend. Come and see the true Christian faith within the Orthodox Church!

  • O Protestant, read your Bible!!

God's command to the Israelites for building the tabernacle:

Exodus 26:18 (KJV) And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work you shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat.

Don't take Deut 5:8 out of the context of God's on reasoning:

    Deut 4:15-17

You saw no form of any kind the day the LORD spoke to you at Horeb out of the fire. Therefore.. do not make yourselves an idol

The invisible God made Himself manifest in the Incarnate Word- Jesus
