@MoL42q I dont think so cause there only a three person band and the dude that got pinched was the bassist, but maybe it was they switched when i saw them last time if it was though
@MoL42q nah, CJ replaced Nick who got arrested. The white dude replaced CJ for a short time because CJ wanted to do other things and then finally Will Frazier was the final bassist for the band.

What? No! This fucking failed. It's like they're singing along to the music, karaoke style. In RATM, the vocals lead and the band goes along with Zack.
@hamsterpoop That's stupid. What kind of fuckin' example is that? Linkin Park would obviously fail at a Tool cover. But aside from that, these guys are very energetic and play this song practically perfect. Plus, the whole crowd knows the song so it makes these guys' performance even better. And karaoke-style? No shit. It's a cover.
@hamsterpoop Why would you want a band to cover a song exactly like the original band....you might as well just listen to the original band. The point of a cover is show tribute to a band that influenced your style while at the same time demonstrate your unique style.
@hamsterpoop really bro? that's the point of covers, for a band to put their spin on another band's great song and show their respect for it. Atreyu covering Epic is a perfect example.
is that steve-o i see? yes it is. fuckin' eh big d rock. that was a sick tour. i caught it in toronto at the kathedral. brain failure? killed it. whole wheat bread? killed it. big d and the kids table? killed it.
I've just discovered Whole Wheat Bread and I'm enjoying their music but I just can't like this cover. It doesn't hold up to the Rage Against the Machine original.
the white guy on bass is the bassist from Big D, he's playing bass so the other guy singing could sing. oh, and the guy singing replaced the other dude who was the black bassist because he was arrested and jailed.
Hey, just because I don't know as much about them as you doesn't mean I can't like them. I'm just more familiar with their older stuff. Don't have to bit my head off.
I don't even wanna finish watching the rest of this video. Who the hell is this?? It's not WWB. There's too many people on stage.

Its a cover, not meant to sound EXACTLY like RATM.

No. But if Linkin Park covered Tool "differently (i.e. like Linkin Park)" it would simply be considered a piece of shit.
Hence, this fucking failed.
hamsterpoop 2 years ago
so any cover is simply a piece of shit?
either way, everyone's allowed their own opinions.

@hamsterpoop If Linkin Park even thought about covering Tool, it would be fucking fail.
This isn't fail... It's not amazing, but it's passable.

Nick Largen, their original bassist was arrested years back for that, and they replaced him with CJ who left the band due to creative differences.
veudan420 3 years ago
Nick Largen was arrested in New Jersey in June of 2006. C.J. Randolph from another great black punk band El Pus replaced him until late 2007.
