k i have this game and i really love it, i mean there are so many levels the gameplay is awesome, i mean i dont know y ppl say its slow. Its perfect, superfast slashing and the bosses and duels with the other knights are just epic.

I pretty much agree with everything in this review. And everyone who is commenting and saying that IGN DOES like sonic, is wrong. Just so you guys know, the generation of 3D sonic games, are here. Sega is not going to make a 2D sonic game just because you want one. Maybe for the Nintendo DS, but not on the wii, PS3, or 360. You tell them not to change sonic. But yet you ask for them to change it to 2D gameplay. All I'm saying, is that you are probably stressing the fuck out of Sega.

first of all there are a lto more game site that review then gamespot and IGN. They gave sonic 06 a better score then this game And i'll tell you sonic 06 sucked. IGN also said sonic unleashed was a pile of garbage yet it was getting 8's and 7.5's. from other better sites. Also if it was a big pile of garbage then why was it voted one of the best sonic games out there? anyway just wanted to make that clear. lol im sure if a fanboy wrote this there would be all sorts of shout marks and swearing.

Most people complain about controls *Shaking the wii remote 2 att* but so did okami and the game was long *Especially the final boss* but that got a 9.8

Plus, while Matt of IGN says something about Sega being too lazy to give the wii remote precise swings, consider if you were supposed to do "precise" wii remote slash swings with a game this fast paced.

You're *supposed* to be able to blast through levels, and such need for precise movements would only hinder the player.

You know, I've noticed two things; certain reviewers and consumers are missing the point of Sonic Black knIght which is not just Sonic blazing through levels. It's more of a platformer/final fight-like fusion.

Or another words, Sonic looking badass, plowing through enemies with a sword.

Though the first assumption is okay, it's what you initially expect from a Sonic game. But it's also causing clouded vision on expectations, that if it isn't exactly Sonic 2 in 3d, it SUCKS.

To continue, gimmicks is what is the blame for the failure of the latest Sonic games. BAD GAMEPLAY is what caused the failure of the last Sonic games (Sonic 360/PS3). Maybe with the exception of Unleashed. Not that I have anything against the werehog, but it didn't really add to the game and infact, padded out the gameplay.

Cool review. People probably think this game is slow because they don't know how to play it as good as you. You were plowing through enemies in a way I have yet to see.

Sonic 06 sucked cause it was rushed out with glitches and bad gameplay. The werehog i could handle but not on the wii the 360 yes it was okay, Lets face it it was batter than playing as knuckles in sonic adventure 2 battle.

Also thanks ya if people actually got used to the game they would realize that hey look at this the game is fast. Also i forgot to mention in the review that they use the sonic music from sonic adventure 1 and 2 as well as sonic heroes music in some of the cutscenes.
