After years, to this day still my single favorite artist. Helps we are from the same state and have known of him for a long while but as other bands fade from my tastes, Sufjan has remained my favorite.

Thank you for posting this song, but I'd like to correct you on the lyrics. It changes the whole meaning of the song, so it is important to note that "your father" should be "the Father".

I wonder if it's possible to find a sufjan stevens song that is not completely amazing in every way. I'm not sure it is, because after years, i've never been able to find one.
This song is heart wrenchingly beautiful.

Complete agreement. Although he's going electronic for his new album... I was at the concert and it all was amazing but I know of some people who aren't looking forward to it.

Yeah I have it. I mean, I'm not a musica pro so I don't fully understand the musical genius behind it, but it's nice to listen to regardless. I do my homework to it. It's all instrumental and kind of nostalgic.
