ok question when you were putting in what appeared to be doors down the bottom level you put plants and stuff in front of the door. are the "doors" there for decoration or are the sims meant to be able to get out?.. just a question thats all but awsome house

In some strange way I, too, think that sims 2 is better than 3...alot

In Sims 2 I had control over my neighbourhood, you know, it was MY neighboorhood, I decided what would happen. In the Sims 3, as soon as I play a different family, I return just to see my Sim having a baby! Also, there aren't as many costumization options in the "base game" in Sims 3, It's just the same clothes over and over with a different pattern which really makes the expansion packs feel like a way to bring in more money

the only thing that sucks about the houses you make is you can't put in a driveway so the sims are stuck there as prisoners pretty house though!

you go to houses, then hit the button below. That will take you to lots. select one then place it next to a road

You go to the neighborhood and click on Lots and Houses. Then there is an option bar[the icon is a rectangle] where you can select the size of the land you want and build your house from scratch.
