@TheCentification No. You will have to wait for a new version of this software to come out. You could try a jailbreak using redsn0w, but it depends if it's a tethered or untethered jailbreak. I did a tethered jailbreak on my 3GS 4.2.1 and hated it. I am just going to wait for a untethered version to come out.

i scrued up my ipod touch 3g mc and now i was supposed to be on 4.0.2 but i had a downloaded 4.0 and Shift-Restore'd my itouch but the jailbreakme doesn't work...

I slide to jailbreak but the safari app just crashes...

What to do, general-about says that i AM on 4.0 and not on 4.0.2 but still nothing

@iiMADRIDii Well if you don't want to activate the phone, then you have to do a code to get to the screen. Otherwise, hook it up to itunes, DON'T UPDATE THE PHONE, and it will unlock itself. Then just load up Safari, and if it hangs on "Downloading...THis may take awhile..." then restart your phone and try again. I jailbroke it in less than 5 mins.

i'm running 3.1.3 05.12.01 model is mb702LL.....I've never done any jailbreak or anything. I have att and never messed with jailbreaking, but now i want to. I want to have the IOS 4.0.1 or whatever the latest verision is when i get it jailbroken. Do i go to the site and jailbreak it or do i update thru itunes to the 4.0.1 first then go to jailbreakme? oh and do i lose my contacts? and apps i already had?

anyone trying this makesure you do a restore then use the jailbreakme to jailbreak it works great ,if you have any problems just try later on and it will work .

if you do jalbreak your iphone 4 and cant get winterboard to download on cydia,just download any theme and it installs winterboard for you

@JalilG3000 okay it might have some bugs but you can get free apps, movies and music. You can also run Nintendo 64, Play Station 1, NES, SNES, and Genesis. You  can get themes, and so much more. Now how is that not worth jailbreaking for.

this works on ALL iDevices up to iOS 4.0.1 do NOT pass iOS 4.0.1, This covers OLD boot roms as well as NEW bootroms i am un-sure if it is a tethered or un-tethered jailbreak though

SOLUTION TO JAILBREAKME 2.0 PURPLE SCREEN!!! READ>?

1.Close the tab in Safari of the jailbreak page

2.Exit Safari

3.Go to Settings -> Safari -> Accept Cookies

4.change Accept Cookies to ALWAYS

5.Go back one menu step and click on "Clear Cookies" and "Clear Cache"

6.Go back into Safari and go to jailbreakme.modmyi.com

7.Should work!

worked for me!!! did this earlier but it crashed i guess the servers were over crowded. but second try worked.

during cydia complete upgrade it got stuck loading the update... after rebooting my iphone 4, went back into cydia and upgrade went ok.

super stoked. thanks to all the people involved in the jailbreak software!
