i love Chongqing cuz its my hometown. Although, I don't have many friends there...sigh*. But thats because i lived in Sydney for a long time....this music btw, is very popular in Chongqing, its played during when they show the weather report of the whole of China...yes it is very long lol

I'm an Ozzie my wife is Chinese from Chongqing. I find the people of Chongqing and China to have great pride in there country, they are very frienrdly and helpfull. I hope to live in Chongqing in the near future as my love for China continues to draw me back more and more.

The great thing I found about people from Chongqing is that, unlike people from other parts of China, the people there are too isolated from the Beijing propaganda machine to be mindless patriots. They're just people, and they're not too busy trying to make a favorable impression just because you're a foreigner. Moreso than anywhere I've seen here, they are what they are -- Real.

Breathingdude: I was born in Chongqing too and lived in there for 10years until I went overseas. Everytime I go back to visit the city just gets more and more convinent. There are also alot to see and do there, it deifnitely doesn't blow to live there. Did you even lived in Chongqing for long?

I was also born there, but i can't agree more that this city is chaotic and it blows to live there. i mean no ofense, ppl are selfish and they would do anything to survive, especially the rich ppl, who can get away with murder cuz they have the money and power, btw, did i mention the traffic? if ur white, ur probably gonna get run over cuz cars dont stop for u like in US or europe, u need to dodge the cars to live.

Well pollution is the biggest problem of communism. It was the same in Poland. After they threw the communists out of power, the government was under pressure to reduce pollution and to make cities more attractive. Today Poland is a really beautiful country.

it was easily the most polluted and maybe the most dirtiest city i have ever stepped foot in. I mean no offence to the people there, but i would say visit the place just to experiance the smog and dust in your face and imagine actually living here.

the towns government deserves no money from tourism as they are destroyign the enviroment of the area and the peoples health who live there, so until they sort it out, dont go!

ChongQing is nothing like other Chinese cities as it is built on moutains, though this is hard to tell based on this vedio. Pollution? big problem, yes.

It's sad to see childern sleeping on city street and then seeing other childern swimming and having such fun in a pool. I hope my first visit I will see those less fortuned childerns so I can at least give them something. Yes, I've been every place displayed in this video. They are so familiar with the scenes in my memory of Shapingba. I'd been living there for more than 8 years, I know how this place been changed in the past years. The construction of this town never stoped. -_- It feels so fantastic, by knowing some ppl who's living in where I was living in, by watching videos about my hometown, in such an international platform, youtube.
